    hey guys,
as this forum dies down, development will still continue. how do you guys want to proceed going forward? i do not visit the xda or mikmik very often looking for new roms for the og evo. i just took a glance and it seems that there are quite a few new roms that have not been discussed here. some have been up since late last year!!!!

do you want me or somebody else to just start posting some of the roms that we think might be cool for you guys? i mean there are like 10 or more roms that i see posted over a xda at the moment. i even posted a new recovery as well.

should i just add what i see to the http://androidforums.com/evo-4g-all-things-root/618281-list-utilities-apps-roms-kernels-og-evo.html and just post what i have added?

some of the roms looks like just themed versions of other roms. should i alert you of these as well? some look like first time chefs as well so their roms might not be as refined?

i just wanted to start a discussion on how we should proceed going forward. this is your forum, please let me know what you think.

i still use this site as my primary forum. i gotta admit, I see fewer postings and I miss the early days where it was hard to keep up with threads cause they'd be buried so fast by other new threads.

Anyway, I'd like individual new threads for new ROMs and compilation threads for ones that are just different themes.

One thing that bothers me about ROM threads is how little detail is given on features. For example, most ROM threads never say if they do full HDMI, or if they include mouse pointer code. Do wiimotes work?

    Anyway, that's my 2

well as far as bluetooth stacks go as long as the rom is cm based then you are good with bluetooth. full hdmi i believe have been for a while support with majority of roms. so i guess those things are assumed now days.

Didn't know that full HDMI was so well supported now. Like, last I heard, Mason kernels didn't support it and a few ROMs design with the Mason in mind (I know that doesn't mean the ROMs wont take other kernels, but if the dev/chef thinks a certain combination works better....)

well it have worked best for the dev.....but since kernels all react differently on different phones, you might want to or have to try other kernels. i am on mason with deck's reloaded on my og evo. now i never really had the need to mirror to my tv.

ok so far it is even. c'mon guys!!!!!!! please post or at least take the poll.

now when i say list, i mean the http://androidforums.com/evo-4g-all-things-root/618281-list-utilities-apps-roms-kernels-og-evo.html.

now if you want me to create a thread for each rom.....i will at some point put it on the list.

also do you guys want me to go ahead and post all new and old ones here in the forum? just the new ones? should i let you guys know about any themed roms? as some of the roms i see are just themed versions of other roms.

common folks let me know or i might not do anything.....LOL

yeah i'm not talking about old roms, but, older roms that were out since november or so. i think i', just going thru and see what looks cool and post them here. at some point i will update the list as well.

so you guys be prepared to see a whole bunch of new threads by me or feel free to post a thread on a rom you like.

i'm gonna stay away from all of the themed miui roms, though

i'm amazed at how well the dev community is still going strong for this phone......it really amazes me.....we are so fortunate!!!!
