Tethering on 42mbps HSPA+ or 4G - How is it?

That city was definitely covered by HSPA+ 42mbps treatment and I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if it was one of the first to get 4G deployment.

I'm in Orange County, right on the outskirts of LA County, and I definitely get decent HSPA+ 21mbps coverage, but I'm unsure how it'll work out with 42mbps. I might just have to pull the trigger when the Nexus 5 is out and see how good it is in my area. Right now, HSPA+ 21mbps tends to be really spotty. It disconnects randomly and speeds go to the sub-1mbps level at certain times of the day.
