The first thing I would suggest trying is to re-calibrate your battery and allow it to go through 3 or 4 charging cycles. See post #1, here.

Next, you can install BetterBatteryStats to see what is using your battery, see here.

If you are on the latest NEAT ROM, MS1, you could try changing to NEATROM LSJ which, for me, is the best release so far, after a GS2ROMNuke and clean install. See Hawker's post #1, here, entitled, "Full wipe. What's the big deal? Steps to take (15 mins)".

Depending on your location, there are not a lot of JB modems to choose from, see, "Modems - Dummies Guide".

I can never remember

Did the battery calibration above and so far so good, but need a couple of days to make sure it had stopped the issues. have installed better battery stats also.

Looking for some help. Put the Neat Lite on (posted few pages back) and worked ok. Took out the battery to remove SD card for backing up and put battery back in and stuck on the yellow triangle screen and only way to remove it was another full restore and start over with the same ROM. Again done it again after the install. So have put 1.2 NEAT on and that works fine.

Any ideas what might be causing this?

And another issue my battery lasted 5 hours when just sitting in my pocket.

hi,
i just flashed neatrom xwlsd lite v4.3.
and on reboot its stuck on the yellow triangle screen for last 15 min.
what should i do now?

p.s. sorry i panicked.it was just a long long long reboot...

Wipe cache and wipe dalvik, i would also run Hawkers kernel script then install the ROM

I always wipe dalvik, cache and reset the phone. Then install the ROM.

Will look into Hawkers kernal script

You may be better of doing a full wipe then, go to mounts and storage and then format system, again you can look at Hawkers ROM wipe script

Your battery will need to recalibrate over the next few days after you have flashed a ROM, if you do stay on Neat 4 + then use the power saving option

Slightly off topic, but..... Sale, are you likely to get an s4 any time soon?

I'm sure I won't be alone in looking to upgrade to it, and would love to see a neat ROM available

However I also know it wasn't long ago that you got an s3 so :-(

hi,
last night my SGSII acted lil differently when rebooting after flashing neatrom lite V4.3.
and now titanium isn't restoring apps properly and my internal space shows 150mb left which was 1.3gb when i flashed it last time.
should i go for internal sd card format -> GSIIromnuke -> flash neatrom lite v4.3 ?

anyways, i formatted internal sd card and replaced titanium backup folder with a old one.
and now its all working as it should be.

I'm on Neat Lite MS1 with Jeboo v2.1 and it's running fine. Better than my experience with Siyah+LSD.

So is there way to put a new kernel on you put the ROM on first then go into download mode and then open odin and put the kernel on top?

What Neatrom 4.4 lite. The to put Jeboo over it.

If there is a different way can someone please let me know

When I have tried other kernels I did it by copying the kernel to the SD card. I then reboot the phone into recovery mode. I run hawker Pauls scripts to clear the trash left behind from the old kernel, then select flash zip file from sd card and it's done.

Im rolling back to Sammy firmware this week in prep for this .... Samsung Phone Trade-in | iPhone Upgrade | Galaxy S III, Note II, S III mini

then my contract is up in may ..just in time for a certain other new smart phone.

Does that trade in scheme work in America?

Also, I've noticed I have keyboard issues right now. It likes to freeze the phone. Sometimes I can flip the phone sideways and it makes it reload the keyboard and then it will work again. It's like it gets stuck loading and then freezes. So annoying. What can I do to fix that?

I have now switched to Jeboo v2.1+ and the keyboard issue has not happened since. Been two days now. Why would PhilZ kernel cause keyboard issues but Jeboo doesn't? Weird.
