I was shopping on amazon and took a screen shot of some oakleys to send to my wife. Used handcent to send the screeenshot. When my son turned on the xbox he said 'you like these sunglasses'? The exact screenshot was on my tv screen! Anyone else have this problem? Is it an app that I downloaded? Is it setting? What if I had sent something to my brother? (you know what I mean) pls help!

Help WTF text goes to xbox!!

is the xbox and phone connected to the same wifi? It could be some sharing between the phone and xbox. I also have an xbox and have personally never had any of my phone pictures show up on the xbox.

Yeah they are on the same Wi-Fi still not sure how it happened...the Xbox was off when I took screenshot and sent the text. Checked all my sharing its all off.

ya the only thing i can think of is there is some folder sharing going on. Can u view any other pictures of ure phone on the xbox?

No I can't even find a place on the Xbox where you would view files, it just came up when my son powered on the Xbox.

All share cast - no. But Xbox is DLNA enabled. You can share any movie or photo from gallery when on the same network with a press of a button. Same with any PC using XBMC. Theres a setting somewhere "possibly gallery" about other devices, or visibility or something. You would need that turned off.

On the xbox console settings>connected devices there are 2 options:
1. xbox smart glass apps (which I have installed on my phone)
2. Play To
If Play To is on when you choose to share a pic a little icon pops up in top right corner. It's right next to where my handcent icon is...accidentally hit that icon. I will try to post screen shots but my usb isn't working right now.

Exactly what I was thinking...my mind was going crazy. I was wondering if all of my pictures were on the Xbox.

i have the same icon on my phone also but never knew it could connect to the xbox i have connected it to my tv but never the xbox.

That's the DLNA share button. It shares to any DLNA device. My tv doesn't support it so for me its just Xbox and my xbmc pc. Blu ray players and tvs also support this. Anything with DLNA. As I said though, you can turn it off where I said. You can even blacklist specific devices and change the types of media shared

Nightmare! i gave an old phone that "couldnt be fixed" profesionaly to my nephew as a toy.. he was like four... somehow he got it to work and shows his mum n dad my pics! There was stuff on there a 4yr old should NEVER see lol
