flashed this yesterday and everything was going good.. phone wasn't getting a signal so i restarted it. now it's stuck on the evo boot screen and won't go any further.. i've tried pulling the battery and letting it boot up again.. but it's still doing it. it has been trying to boot for the past 10 mins and it is going nowhere.. anybody have any suggestions?

Go into recovery and try clearing cache/dalvik

Did you start fresh? Or restore the backup from another rom?

I came from running the stock ROM but with root, wiped everything, then flashed this and got the update to the latest through 4ext a few hours later

Edit:
I went back into recovery and hit restore, it restored it back to the backup I made before installing this ROM. Good news is my phone is now working, bad news is that it is back running stock with root... oh well, ya win some ya lose some! I'll try to flash this again another day because it really is a good ROM.

Here's another thing I've noticed, and it's relatively minor. I really like sporting a transparent status bar...it looks quite DOPE on the home screens.

When you open an app, the area behind the status bar is usually filled in the color of the app (so Kernel Tuner usually shows white).

The Browser is normally black at the top, and on another ROM I've run, I don't recall seeing the browser's top banner showing up twice. I know on the BluROM browser, it shifts the URL banner down and then it moves it back up (or something like that). Anyway, here's what it looks like with a transparent status bar. It happens anytime a new page loads, but the tabs screen keeps it like that the whole time, so I used that page as an example. I don't suppose there's a way to clean that up is there? Again, this is merely a minor annoyance, and really nothing to be concerned about, so if it requires extensive time, please don't even look into it.

Can anyone tell me why Kernel tuner keeps dropping both of my cpu max speeds back to 384mhz after a deep sleep??? So irritating!! Is there any way to prevent deep sleep? Any other multi-core cpu apps out there that will actually make the speed stick? After installing r66, The max cpu speed stuck at the speed I set it until the phone did a random reboot, now it won't stick anymore. Please help.

Did you by chance update Kernel Tuner through the Play store? A few weeks ago, the KT developer released a version that caused problems after rebooting. The developer never removed the app from the Play store from what I hear, though he may have provided a warning.

I haven't been keeping up with it, so I am not sure if he ever put out a newer release that deals with those issues.

I do know that as of this morning, I am getting a notification that KT needs to update. I generally refuse updates to KT until I know all is good. I may even let Negamann decide to incorporate it or not, and just stick with the version he gives until his next r-version includes the newest KT app.

KT has long since been updated and fixed, as far as your settings not sticking, try using init.d instead of on boot complete in application settings. Only issue I have had with it is in CM10.1 it sometimes gives me 2 core settings, sometimes only gives me 1 core settings

I'm still working on getting handcent to work, they aren't very good with support and I can't figure out why it's doing it. r68 actually focuses on fixing it, but to no avail. I'll continue to work on the issue. One user said it worked on r27 and doesn't from there on, but the thing is, I didn't change much between those release, nothing that would affect apps anyway.

have you tried a stock browser to see if it makes any difference?

Anyone else have issues with bluetooth reconnecting with no media after a phone call? Wasn't sure if it was an actual bug or my cheap bluetooth :^)

Oh BTW I don't actually use handcent but the Kii keyboard uses those emoji. Also in things like scope I get the little boxes showing up in peoples posts rather than the emoji. I am sure the things are connected but didn't want you chasing a ghost.

Cannot seem to get the new version to flash. Just keeps boot looping. Have tried a dirty flash like I have done for the last several and even tried clean flashing. Thought was a bad flash or bad download. Redid the export from Svn but still no go.

I have a similar issue with this rom (version r66) and that is with the latest version of kernel tuner installed (version 4.4.2). I pick up the phone after it has been idle for a couple hours and it lags, I go into kernel tuner to see this;

I have disabled kernel tuner, hopefully this reaps some positive results. I have had kernel tuner paired with anthrax on other roms and I do not recall this same issue occurring.

Yeah, same here. Had to revert back to r68. Well, I'm sure Nega's on it.

EDIT: Well, it looks like Nega addressed the issue with r70. About to update and flash it now.
