Looking for a Rugged Android phone

There aren't too many Ruggedized Android phones out there. Your best option might be to get which ever phone your sister likes then get an Otter Box case for it.

Hey, that sounds awesome.

But now I'm even more in over my head..

I need to find a phone for <150$ and I have absolutely no idea where to start.

All I know is it has to be used and I'm buying it off eBay.

I would not recommend purchasing a phone off ebay unless you are able to verify the IMEI is not locked out.

You don't want to spend money on a phone just to find out you cannot activate it because it's been reported as stolen. Just my opinion.

But I want to activate it in Israel, so does it still matter if it's reported stolen or not?

Kyocera Torque- $99 on contract @ Sprint.
IP67 rating, Military Standard 810G certification- basically it's pretty tough.

Kyocera Torque review: a rugged phone delivering superior sound
They complained that on some drops the battery cover came a bit loose and the corners of the phone scratched up.

That's nice, but I think I'm going to go with the Otter case and a more known brand.
