DEVELOPMENTS NOW ACTIVE! This is with due attention that I guess now it's time to resume developments on this project. The base ROM's were selected earlier and now soon I will be providing a Developer Environment Checklist for all the active developers on this project. Please make sure, you all download and make yourself upto the checklist levels.

Fly ROM as Base ?
It is fast i know . But i tried every damn way to port ICS transition anims (except UOT) but never worked :-/

Bro, we're not anymore creating an ICS like looking ROM. Now were onto Hybrid's... So no more requirements to insert anything related to ICS. We'll be creating a fresh new look on Android for this cellphone. Although i don't have this cellphone, but i guess the make and test strategy would work.

So let's not worry about the issues, and yes... you know the ROM's well... Could you please maintain a list of problems in both these ROM's so that we can work unified approach towards the final build?

If that's not problem then full marks for the fly ROM.
It has best speed, best battery , best RAM management.

An alternative to fly ROM would be The Hawk Eye rom as it has some good lockscreens, more free ram like 80mb or so , good battery.

Some suggestions -
We will release The ROM in deodexed format. and will provide an app to odex it if users want it so.

We must look for some alternative dialers which are fast and cool looking eg : exdialer.

An easy way to change fonts ( im looking for this)

Disable that overscroll. Not that glow but the list which overscrolls after reaching the end.

I will add some more when I remember

We need an alternate dual sim dialer as many of us like me uses both sims for calling so want the phone to ask always which sim to dial.

yup i am also in favour of fly as camera music evrithng wrks fine ! its pretty stable ! battery is a lill issue bt that wud b fine ! heyu guys remem d updates from firoz for BT ? cn we use dem ? i remem dere ws a dialer and a colored menu as well ? o_O

We'll be making something new, so we can use whatever we wish to. And yes falesh, I suppose you were to maintain a list of problems? The same list which is permalinked in OP....

STANDING INSTRUCTIONS: Okay guys, time has arrived please download both ROM's mentioned in the OP. All Developers....

@shahabazas I want you to install one of the ROM and provide me a screenshot of each and every application inside it. The gallery, dialer, music, homescreen etc etc... and yeah settings app too....

@gta I am waiting for something from you in the framework-res.apk and systemui.apk. Please mod the changed and make a production build, pack them and give them to me.
We need it for first launch, then we'll keep making the changes.

@falesh I want you to find me out and OTA Application APK (the best one) and also it's documentation about how it works.

MIUI is what everyone likes :adore::adore:
--So i wanted to create a theme of MIUI . I even told in fb group that a MIUI theme for BlueTerror is coming , But i left the project in Between as exams started .
So , today i ported my whole Theme to Fly ROM . Some Work is still Pending as of now . :eek:

P.S - Saw that ICS Styled Title Bar ? It took me 2 Hours to figure out how to increase it's size .
Launcher -- MIhome official MIUI Launcher (Suppourts .mtz themes too)
Iconpack - Metro Inspired

@aayush what u say about this ? Should we make it our final Look ?

Guys before we start our work can we just wait for some more time and see if this ROM has all the features working as it has few features which will make our phone swing and we can have the phone faster than before... check the link i am waiting for the download link to try it out so what say...

No doubts it's awesome... But, why don't we just take the idea from this not the ROM itself?

You gave me an awesome mind clickin' idea.... The Metro UI~! It's challenging, awesome in looks and fast either... we can create something like that in hybrid... let's first cross two ROM's and then give it this Metro Style UI....

Bro, I know you are just after the features of that ROM... The UI is not the very best I've seen. In fact the gta's UI is more good looking.... So lets start the developments, after that we'll add something from this ROM tooo.....
