Hmmm thats sound cool that we can have something from this ROM and haan the one big problem of the Yonip beta 5.4 ROM is that we do not get the names of contacts in the call log however when we click on the number then we get the complete info about the number the name of the contacts but when we just wanna see who called us or whoes missed call was it then we need to go in call log and then when we view the number there we get the info.
And there is no problem in flashing any of the two ROMs and bro the 2.3.6 ROM is the one which is awesomely MODDED by DROIDPM as GBSandwich3 so can we directly use the GBSV3 to CROSSBREED with the Yonip 5.4 as it is preMODDED what say? and i ll send u the request after some time as has some problem in my network.

Ya its a strange problem i tried everything possible things i can but still not getting it and the same thing was happening with Gionee ROM but there was a tab in setting from where we can get the number database downloaded and after that the names are displayed in the call log but when i tried to install the apk for that in Yonip 5.4 it got installed but not shown in app drawer so i tried to copy paste the database what i got from gionee ROM but still no success so now you need to check it out. but rather than that everything is working fine smooth and fast. And what about the 2.3.6 ROM can we use the GBSandwich3 or you want us to have the 2.3.6 ROM only???

Hmm, okay... Seem's to be a stupid enough problem... Will check it....

And lets not split hairs, first lets start with the plain 2.3.6... then we'll see if we can do something from GBSandwich as it looks great....!

Buddy the plain 2.3.6 is what we have after theming as GBSandwich3 so if you waht to start from scartch then no problem but if we need to make the ROM fast then we can straight away opt GBSandwich3 so now its upto u as i am ready for anything you decide cos i belive on you and know that you will make something best out of nothing so i am with you for anything.

Wait Wait! I'm seriously confused now....! Which is the initial ROM on which GBSandwich was built? Was that initial one 2.3.6?? And is the GBSandwich a unlocked ROM to be used as a base ROM to develop over it???

Yes the initial ROM was 2.3.6 for GBSandwich3 and i know DROIDPM as when he was making GBSandwich3 i was continuously talking to him and he had permitted me to MOD it for A75 and released it here for A75 but as Drdogautam released it before me so i dint uploaded it just provide d update links for the updates and patches so we can use that ROM as base if you want.

The ROM of Silverlight 5, Alcatel Id918 stoCk 2.3.6 ROM, H7-3G.2.3.6-v5.5-setting update-haiduongbk and Carpad 2.3.6 ROM are one and the same just differ in some or the other thing as i have tried all of them and Bala bro made 1 ROM among these as stable and he just released it as stock update 2.3.6 ROM for Spice Mi350 which he named Silverlight 5 and DROIDPM worked on it and made GBSandwidch3 so which means MODing GBSandwich3 will be much more easier than MODing the Base ROM as we need to start from the scratch so i was asking Aayush if we can straight away work on GBSandwich3 and make it more amazing with all the features we want from other ROMs and make a CROSSBREED HYBRID ULTIMATE and the most AMAZING one of a kind ROM.

Bro , you know those quick toggles in GBsandwich in status bar ? they are only present in HD7's ROM .
Silverlight 5 is Alcatel id918 ROM which are tad diffrent from other mtk6573 ROMS . Like kinetic scroll does not overscrolls , VERY Diffrent phone.apk(see it when someone calls)

And GB Sandwich is Just HD7's ice cream Bead ROM . Which someone posted some months ago in AF.
Also if GBsandwich was based on Alcatel / Silverlight ROM then Its LMK's(lom memory killers) would have been configured for 256mb RAM devices . But In GBsandwich it is configured for 512mb RAM Devices like HD7.(confirm it by minimizing any app ..... it will be killed instead of left running)

I Feel DroidPM Is just Trolling . Although He has done a good work in adding apps theming etc in icecreambread ROM.

Bro, Android is a Linux! And Linux's are modifiable to the endless extent...

And I've just told you above in a comment that, we're not creating an ICS like ROM. We're re-inventing the A75.

Create something so unique out of this ROM so that no one can even recognize that it was ONCE GBSandwich!!!

Bro i dint find any app killed when it was minimised may be cos the ROM what i am using as GBSandwich3.0.5 is a combination port of GBSandwich2 and GBSandwich3 cos when i downloaded GBSV3 it dint boot up so i combined both GBSV2 and GBSV3 files and after that i did some changes in int.d scripts too and also had some things added in the build.prop may be cos of which it was not giving me problem in multitasking.

Anyways we want a ROM for our A75 so lets work on it and keep the rest things aside if GBSV3 is good as base then we can use it as base and keep all the other things about it aside and start working as we want our ROM to be made as fast as possible so lets start working bro. And i know you have good searching skills so amy be you are correct and one more thing i have all the HD7 ROMs also with me so if something is needed form them i can provide it. I many other ROMs too so if you come across any ROM and need something from it let me know will upload it okay.

I installed GBS yesterday to start modding .
Here are the bugs which i suffered in a73 -
1) When i switch off the phone it does not boot again . then i have to reinsert the battery .
2) Gbs sound mod causes very high distorted bass from stock earphones. but sounds good in low volumes.
3) recently saivignesh fuc#ed up his loudspeaker in GBS Rom.
4) Sometimes "Preparing SD card" sticks in the notification bar and never goes away until i reboot the phone. whilst my sd card works fine.
i think it is buggy in A73.
