sweet, updated mine (VM) through Kies but will not be able to play too much until I get home!!! Thanks for the heads up!

I upgraded thru Kies too, I got JB
First I downloaded Kies to my computer SAMSUNG KIES
Then up updated my Kies to the newer version
Then I opened up the program and connected my USB to the computer and my smarphone
Then I waited for Kies to recognize my device.
Then Kies asked me if I want to upgrade to the new firmware upgrade
I clicked yes and followed all the prompts then the uploading started & had to wait till it was completed, then it downloaded to my phone then I had to wait for that to complete then once it was done the phone rebooted and I had JB on it. So awesome!

I have a question about the update. I went through and updated and everything is working fine so far. BUT I want to go back to being rooted and on a differwnt rom. Im assuming ill need to use odin since root hasnt been found yet on the JB update yet. ON VM by the way.

Phone seems to run alot better since going to jelly bean but I have had some minor issues. Couple of apps said that they are not install so I had to reinstall 1 of them, words with friends, but even after reinstalling notifications don't come through, no big deal. The other one is the gallery app that comes stock with the OS, not sure why it's saying it's not install but I can't reinstall it as it's a default app to the OS. No big deal as I can go use other progams to look/watch photos and videos. Other then those 2 things I haven't seen any other problems (major or minor). I seem to be getting a better signal on my phone and it seems to pick up wifi signals faster also and with a better connection strength. Overall I'm happing with the update but went back to lightning launcher as I wasn't too impressed with the touchwhiz launcher it comes with.
