A buddy of mine had a similar problem with his Galaxy SII (only stock battery, though), and he ended up having to replace it because the issue would kill his phone in a matter of hours. I don't remember if he ever figured it out before he got the replacement, but if I get the chance, I'll ask him about it.

In the mean time, you may want to try opening the phone and making sure there isn't anything shorting out the charge port.

Well i charged it up some and unplugged it and it seems to be ok atm if it does it again i will disassemble the phone i don't want to because the case is already cracking i love the TU and if worse comes to worse i can buy a new one, but at the rate boost is going with data caps and shit i might not be with boost much longer, and i will be without a phone for about 2 weeks because i cant afford it, and its down to 40 a month lol, just no job so i might switch from boost when i can afford my phone again idk.
Anyways i just thought i should try to fix the problem now in case it happens to someone in the future ill keep you updated on the battery

I've never really got WiFi tethering to working, I've tried a few different apps for it.

My other devices see it as a hotspot, then I connect to it, then open web but the browser shows like it would if I'm not connected.

I can have it open and still does same thing.

Anyone know anything about how to remedy that,

The last app that I had working on the STU was open garden which is no longer included with MegaTron. It could either be installed from memory card or put into /system/app. This is NOT the same app that is currently available on the market. I can dig to get it for you but I'm not 100% sure if Chev has to do to enable it.

Has anyone else experienced this? I am currently running 6.04 (which runs beautiful) and have tried flashing to 6.1 and 6.1.1. the few times that i have flashed the updated roms, the dialog boxes are HUGE and take up a majority of the screen. this is not the case in 6.04. E.g. when i open up TB and go to put in a filter, I can no longer see what I am typing in the prompt. all i see are the words under the box (including the filter button) and then my keyboard. I have downloaded the rom multiple times and still get the same result. Oh, and changing the font size does not help.

Quick question, while playing around with some options and using diffrent apps to access all of my TUs info,I see it says that my GSM Service is: In Service!!...??? These are CDMA phones right?? Dont ATT/T-Mobile/Other phones that use SIM cards use GSM??? My network type is Cdma-EvDo rev.A What exactly does this mean?? Also,I noticed my APN settings are not selected with the green dot beside them?? Should it be selected??

Oh and when I had access to my native USB tether,my PC would recognize it as a modem. Can this be done with any USB tether app or does that work only for the native???
