Compliments/Gripes on Official JB

It does seem to be faster and snappy at best. However, I am very dissappointed that my copy (after numerous downloads and reinstalls) have experienced the following problems:

1. Loss of screencapture feature - pwr/vol down doesn't work, home/pwr does not work as well.
2. Inability to turn off/disable the USB/charger sound when its plugged into the phone.

these have been my biggest pet peeve of mine with this JB update.

That can't be true because mine works fine. Have you contacted Samsung or Sprint with your issue(s)?

"That can't be true..."??? Sir,you're funny. I can assure you that it is true, irrespective of whether you wish to believe it or not.

Yes, I have spent time with Sprint and Samsung. Both would like for me to ship my phone to them for evaluation and repair. Their understanding is that this should not be occurring.

If Sprint's update was poorly coded, how is it that the screenshot feature for my phone as well as many others' work? It's probably due to a malfunction on your end of the line.

Assumption on your part, yet again...

The answer's no since others have experienced the same thing.

It's an assumption, you're right. But it's a safe one seeing how no one else is experiencing this problem on this forum besides you.
I know you must be frustrated but you can't just go and assume that Sprint messed up the update if mostly everyone's screenshot function works.
Hopefully Samsung can help you with your issue :)

Edit: You may have tried already, but have you tried clearing the cache?

you know, Dngrsone, if you do not have anything of substantive value to me... your comments are better left off this thread. They serve no purpose and neither do you.

My apologies for having offended you.
I shall endeavor, in the future, to always avoid trying to bring any sort of levity into a thread where you are.

And while I, personally, find very little use for the screenshot feature on my phone, I did try and, after as few attempts, found it to be working for me.

Here's the difference: the thread was titled "General Complaints..." and so I replied what I believed was appropriate and of value given the title of this post. Your post in no way aligned to that, thereby not helpful. There are people experiencing the same problems as I have. I don't want to clutter this thread with the links in other forums proving this.

I know. I'm an IT Analyst - I have some colleagues who use all of those acronyms. If the user ever heard them, they would never think that they were funny.

Insight, suggestions, recommendations... are what's needed in this instance.
