Can anyone recommend a good Siri clone? I've tried Skyvi and it doesn't really work as advertised for me.

Depends if you want relevant usable results from it or a computer to have small-talk with i suppose. For the latter, try Chatbot

I've been using and like Assistant but it seems like a couple of updates ago, something about it is not the same to me. I haven't quite figured it out.

I found one names Alyse or something and it did some very basic things, but not as good as Google now, because the app had to be open. I hope Google will take Google Now to the next level to really compare to Siri.

I like using Google Now. The only problem is that I have a shortcut set up on a gesture launcher (Wave Launcher), and it never works. I'm experiencing some of the same issues whenever I just open the app itself. I also can't ever get it to do any of the basic things I know it can.
