Root [ZIP] MMS FIX FOR CM/AOSP/AOKP (THANKS wolfu)

Hm, last time I used this fix on Mazda's aokp 3.5 it worked, however after flashing the zip all of my apns settings are blank and MMS doesn't work. What am I missing?

are you still trying to use mazda 3.5? i would try another full wipe and re-flash. i've flashed this one dozens of times and the apns have always been where they should be (the dirty unicorn rom, however, is a different story)

make sure your build.prop is in order also

also make sure you boot at least once before applying this fix. dont flash the rom and the fix all in the same go. and also delete the stock mms.apk...don't flash over it.

Whenever I flash the CM 10.1 MMS fix in Dirty unicorns I notice some settings disappear. I think this is because the MMS.apk in the fix is older than the one included in the ROM. Is it possible to apply the fixes made in the MMS.apk from the flashable zip to the existing MMS.apk in DU? Alternately is it possible to grab an MMS.apk from an existing VM ROM with working MMS and put it in DU?

Well the MMS.apk in DU has standard emojis whiles the one from the fix has the android emojis (some of the emojis are replaced with android ones). Also there a few other settings not included. Sorry I can't go into detail. I currently can't flash the two and compare. As I said I believe it's because the MMS.apk in the fix is an older version than the one in DU but I'm not sure. If there's any way to update I would appreciate it.

I'm getting a failed flash when trying to flash the cm10.1 fix with the newest dastin cm10.1 nightly..strange enough even though twrp says the flash failed my MMS.apk is back when I boot up even though I deleted it as instructed. anyone else notice this or have this issue with newest cm nightly?

edit.nvm I'm good. it seems to have worked after all.. maybe a recovery issue

What am I doing wrong? I've tried to get this to work every which way. I've deleted it from my system/app, and flashed it in recovery, and tried deleting it, and copy/pasting the apk to the app directory. I've changed permissions according to some other users tips, and I still can't get MMS to work.

I'm on AngryBean, using the CM 10.1 fix. Any help?
