I got this battery a few days ago and am doing what the maker recommends: so far, 12 hr charge the1st day and now trying to bleed it down to 2% or zero. Hard to do! My phone shows 3 days 6 hours use with 9% remaining. Manufacturer recommends 5 or 6 cycles of this, is it really necessary?

Also, a belt holster for a Galaxy Note 2 fits fine with room to spare for this rig. Someone asked earlier about that.

Thanks for such an informative site by real users, gang!

Hey guys , it's my 2 weeks with this battery and I did all what the manufacturer wants me to do. But i'm getting 2 days ON and 10 hours of screen time, I've seen people get more days, does this mean i got a defective battery?

No,your battery isn't defective. No two user experiences are going to be identical,so,YMMV.

If you do the math, basically divide your time w/the ZEROLEMON battery by 3 & that should be close to what you were getting w/the stock battery.

Either way,2 days w/o having to charge,I'd say, is great. The best I ever got w/mine (which was an earlier version, only 6300 mAh) was 40 hrs.But then again,my data coverage was weak,so,that may be something to consider if you're thinking that the 2 days run time could be improved upon, among many other factors that determine battery life.

Enjoy the long battery life & leave the worrying behind. :)

A weak signal is one of the biggest battery drainers, rivaling that of intense gaming & prolonged periods of overall screen-on time.

If you can somehow improve upon your data &/or WI-FI signal,I guarantee you'll see a noticeable improvement in battery life.

hi

Is anyone charging this with the Samsung charger that comes with the S3 - I am in the uK and that is rated at 5v, but the battery has warning not to be charged with voltage more than 4.35v!

Have the battery, but now not sure if I dare charge it in the phone!

Help!

Go w/what you have, the OEM SAMSUNG charger.I'm certain the instructions say just that, despite the potential conflicting information regarding voltage.

The following is a direct quote from the Q&A section @ AMAZON for this battery:

Yes, You would use the same charger that came with your S3. You don't need to purchase any additional chargers. Also on the battery instruction pamphlet that comes along with the product it actually encourages that you only use original battery charger to recharge.

If you're still a bit uneasy proceeding forward, just contact ZEROLEMON directly via e-mail to confirm.
