Help Note 2 video Gallery on home screen

Hi All
Just wondered if anyone knew of an app or a way so that i can have my video showing on my home screens?

What i mean is that if you open the stock video player you are presented with a wall of all the videos on the phone, im looking to get the same thing but on one of my home screens.

Anyone help?

Thanks

Pete

If you want the video only (without audio), there's a live wallpaper that you can use:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ccpcreations.android.VLW&feature=search_result#?t=W251bGwsMSwxLDEsImNvbS5jY3BjcmVhdGlvbnMuYW5kcm9pZC5WTFciXQ..

It works very well, but the only problem I had with it was it did drain the battery. That's when I switched to my animated gif live wallpaper

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.direxar.animgiflivewallpaper2&feature=nav_result#?t=W251bGwsMSwxLDMsImNvbS5kaXJleGFyLmFuaW1naWZsaXZld2FsbHBhcGVyMiJd

Now, if you're saying that you only want the video or videos running on a single homescreen (but not as the entire wallpaper), Super Video has a couple widgets, but I haven't been able to get them to work the way that I was hoping they would:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=gpc.myweb.hinet.net.PopupVideo&feature=search_result#?t=W251bGwsMSwxLDEsImdwYy5teXdlYi5oaW5ldC5uZXQuUG9wdXBWaWRlbyJd

It's still a great video player and it does show up on my multi-tasking apps.

Thanks but its still not really what I'm looking for, I just want something like the attached image..

Can't believe that its this difficult to find an answer with all the apps & widgets out there.

So, you're saying that you want the video folders/files showing on a widget, but not necessarily playing? Just like a "quick access" to the video folders?

Well thats something but still not really what we are after, just want the same format like the stock video player, like you say you would have thought there would be a few about.

I'm actually even in shock that Samsung didn't create a stock widget that'll have s-pen integration.

Ideally, I'd love to be able to have a video widget on one of the home screens that is scrollable through selectable folders and then be able to use hover view to preview the videos (all from whichever homescreen the widget is placed on). It's times like these that I wish I had the skills to create my own apps!...LOL.

Yeah if only it was that easy, I want it even more now that I've downloaded all my Facebook videos.

It never is...but that's the great thing about forums like this. You don't have to be on that search alone. There are others that could be on the lookout and the next thing you know, someone is posting an app that does exactly what you're looking for.

Majority of my favorite apps, that I use on a daily basis, have been found through someone posting on this forum! Just to name some, Widgetsoid, PowerAmp, Mobo Player, Beautiful Widgets, Launcher Pro Plus/Go Launcher Ex/Nova Launcher, I could go on and on. The only ones that I use regularly, that I hadn't found through someone else posting about them, were the live wallpaper apps I posted up above, as well as a animated gif making app. Everything else, I pretty much found out about here.

I looked around for one and couldn't find it for videos. On a side note, if it is for pictures, I found out that the Note II actually comes with picture frame under widget folder. It does not display any video though. :(

I did found one that like you create video shortcuts on home screen, but I don't think it will add them automatically. It was also not from the Play store, so I didn't want to download to try.

That's what we were mentioning earlier. There are a lot of ways to display pictures w/ widgets, but have been unsuccessful finding a widget that will display videos.

Super Video, which I posted above, allows for posting shortcuts of videos as a widget and additionally, allows for a widget to be created that displays "favorites" (once assigned). That is the closest thing that I've found so far. It's a decent concept and actually does work, once it's set up, but it'd be nice to have a scrolling widget that will just display videos that you could scroll through all without leaving the homescreen.
