Hello Guys :), I am planning to buy this phone, but I've got a question... I was wondering if someone knows if the 64GB SIM Unlocked version will work on Simple Mobile (since T-Mobile will get in their roster, I hope it works on simple mobile because it works On the same network)... Please let me know, I appreciate it any help ;)

I'm hearing/reading that the Black model will only be available in 32GB, even on AT&T. WHY?!?! I preordered the silver 64GB version, but was gonna return it within 14 days if the Black version was going to come out soon. But if it's only available in 32GB (10 of which is OS) then I'm just going to keep the silver. However, I REALLY wanted the Black model. I'll still enjoy the silver version, but the Black version is SO sexy.

I hear ya on that. I went to BB all ready to get the silver One. However, BB had a black one on display. YOWSA...that thing looks so much better in the real than in pictures. I immediately decided to wait and get the black one. No word on when it will arrive. Sheesh.

I'd rather have it in black as well, but, since I just changed carriers(from SPRINT to T-MOBILE),I need a new phone anyway. It was either the ONE or the NOTE 2.

Also, seems the mfgs/carriers like to keep the product line fresh as long as possible & no better/cheaper way to do that than introduce new color options later on in the product life cycle.

Has anyone seen one in the wild yet? I am holding off on getting one as I think I am changing carriers, from ATT to T-Mobile (that's another story).
But I have yet to see or hear of anyone having gotten one of the black ones. (I saw the you tube videos but just not in person)

Additionally neither ATT or T-Mobile say anything about the black one on their websites. Not even available to order.

Anyone, anyone .... Bueller?

Black HTC One peeks out of AT&T and Sprint web stores, promises to be available soon

I don't quite understand why this story was ever written, or why it has seemingly been re-blogged by everyone and their brother in the last day or two. The Black HTC One has been on Sprint's site, labeled as Coming Soon since the pre-order date of April 5th, or before. I can't say for certain, but I suspect the same is true of the Black HTC One offered through ATT. I think it has been shown on their site for more than a week or two as well...

Yes, I have seen and held one. They had it on display at BB. I went in ready to get the silver one. When I saw that black one it was all over. Now I will wait for it. No word from BB when it would be available.

The author of the article was raked over the coals in the comment section for falling asleep at the switch on the subject. Ya gotta wonder if he'd taken an unplugged vacation,as the rest of the ANDROID community was up-to-date on the subject.

Id love to order one but TMO their site is down seems ordering from them on the phone is as well. I tried all weekend

YMMV,but,I'm finally able to log-on to MY T-MOBILE. :pcguru:

Not sure if orders are going through, but,if my 1st bill w/them is any indication, not everything is as it should be. :banghead:

GOOD LUCK,you'll probably need it.................. ;)

I've pretty much decided that the One will be my next phone and I'll likely be getting it within the next week or so. I was curious how many people have gotten the black version. I was set on getting it in black until I had a chance to see both...and now I'm torn! I know it pretty much comes down to preference, but I was wondering if there was any particular reason people chose one color over the other. Anyone notice if any of the build quality issues are present in one and not the other or are they same? In a way the black one almost looks "plain" to me, but I still like the feel of the phone in my hand. Decisions, decisions...

One of each would be ideal, but, this technology,in a smartphone, would reign supreme:

Who knows, maybe a few years from now....... ;)

Now THAT would be nice. :) Dare to dream...

I was under the impression that the black version was already out since they had it on display at BB. That's what I get for not looking into it a bit more. Guess I'll be putting off my purchase a bit longer than I thought. Grrr....

Anyone else buy the phone outright with an existing prepaid plan? If so, did your old sim card work right away? It didn't for me.

The clerk at the T-mobile store inputted my phone number into their computers but then proceed to place my old sim into the HTC One and I was on my way. When I got back to work, I realize that my phone still isn't detecting any network. Did the clerk screw up and I was supposed to use the new sim? Or was I supposed to ask him to sim unlock my phone?

Thanks.
