Why go to CM9 WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THEM BESIDES A BUNCH OF STUFF ON CM9 DOESN'T WORK? AND HOW IS IT POSSIBLE TO OVERCLOCK AT 1.8 ON AN 800MHZ CHIP? SINGLE CORE?

Theoretically you could overclock a lot of things way past their limit, but it wouldn't be stable. It's just a hardware/software thing. This applies to other computer devices as well.

The difference is, as you said, a bunch of stuff. CM in general is meant to be more efficient in general, as well as provided a huge expansion on compatibility for extra features the phone normally couldn't/wouldn't support. It also helps with bringing more recent Android versions to lower-version phones. Case in point: The OE is stock Gingerbread, and we now have CM9 which is Ice Cream Sandwich. CM9 on this phone is a double-whammy of improvements - all of the benefits of ICS, in addition to all of the benefits that CyanogenMod individually provides. In spite of all of this, I myself won't be flashing CMx until all of the bugs have been worked out (that are specific to CM/GB/ICS/JB) or at least until all of the out-of-the-box features are working, since there are some stock bugs I'm sure might not be fixable (bluetooth bug, for example). That being said, I'm glad we have developers working hard to bring CM of any version to this device, and I wish them continued success in the future.

EDIT: The stock Bluetooth Bug whereby it is connecting to another device, takes too long, and you turn off Bluetooth while it is still connecting, which causes the phone to reboot. My theory is that it doesn't properly quit the connecting process before turning itself off, and causes a logic error that it can't handle.

Don't know about anyone else but my "Bluetooth" is working on the Build I'm using;
(Initial release -4/13 "Rom alpha CM9")
At least it scans for & detects the other devices!!!
Camera seems to be the only issue for me

Not sure when I became the boot animation expert, but it goes in /system/media. Get rid of the current one, stick your's in, and name your's bootanimation.zip

my bluetooth is working. i hooked it up to my plx kiwi and got my torque app running yesterday. i overclocked to 1.6 and it still seems a little slow. despite the flaws and speed i love the rom and ill keep it on there. good luck on fixing the camera and card. thanks.

I don't know if this means anything or will help anything, but I downloaded an app called "3G only" & when you turn it on it Turns off the 1x, it treats my data connection like "back ground" data, (as if I were roaming),, Just wanted to report "everything" that I encounter thats not "normal"

Considering Artine did all his magic on GB I don't know if the advice will work as well on ICS especially a custom one like CM9.
