Hi Guys,
As the title suggests. I really want to destroy the firmware on the phone, completely format it and then reload it with the FDZ software. Having tried to reload the image of the phone several times, it seems it doesnt always 'format' the device prior to reloading, it just adds the new layer on top.
I suspect this is part of my rooting issues that I am having (as requested for assistance in the All things root section).
Is there anyway that I can complete format the chip on the phone so there is no software at all, and then reload the phone with new firmware?
My suspicions are that all my phone is doing is adding a new layer to the software, and pretending to start again, rather than wiping the phone to get rid of all that, and then trying again...
Any Advice?
