The Official "I've got mine" Thread

I ordered mine today inside my local Tmobile store, the rep I know took care of it for me. We did overnight shipping, this was at about 3pm today. Order went right through, and I got an email instantly to sign the agreement online and then received another emial within 5 minutes that my order was processed.

But haven't received anything else since this afternoon...Wondering if I'm really gonna get this thing tomorrow?

I placed an order for my HTC One 64GB with AT&T on Monday, 22nd with 2 day ground shipping. It's now Friday and my order is still listed as "Processing". I called AT&T and they told me that orders are usually processed within 48 hours and that they couldn't help me, even though it's been over 72 hours. I've noticed that other within this Forum have received their 64GB models already, so these things should be shipping already. I'm obviously not going to have my new toy to play with this weekend :-(

At the moment I am vary unhappy with Newegg. Last night I contacted them to confirm my phone would be in my hands before the 30th (to comply with HTC's buyback program end date) they assured me it was ready to be shipped out and would be yesterday. I asked them if they could confirm that was the case, and they assured me it was. Today I got the following email. It would seem that I was lied to. Now, don't get me wrong, as impatient as I am to get this phone, I was perfectly fine waiting a few more days to get is so long as I would have it in my hands by the 30th, and I made that quite clear. So, it's not the extra time that made me unhappy, it was the misinformation. Anyway, good news is the phone should get to my house before I do on Monday (work and all).

WOW,no signature required?

A package worth well in excess of $500 & they choose to ship w/o requiring a signature?

I suppose if you're certain someone will be around to accept delivery,it's OK,but, still, from NEWEGG's perspective, seems they're cutting corners a bit close, well beyond the risk/reward balancing point.

Here's hoping they keep the delivery date as promised. :thumb:

yeah, the wife will be home, hopefully the fedex driver rings the doorbell, UPS and USPS have a bad habit of just leaving the package and not knocking or ringing. At any rate, I don't even mind if it shows up on the 30th, later than that though and they will get an earfull.

Picked mine up tonight from Best Buy right at closing. I'm a former Sprint employee so there were a few hiccups with porting my number in to Sprint from Verizon, but it all got worked out. Coming from a Galaxy Nexus, and I'm loving every minute of it so far. Previously I had a rooted Evo 4G, and everything about the One represents the elite of the elite. Hung out with a group of car buddies tonight and had 4 of them asking me questions about the phone and wanting to play with it. Will provide a more in depth review once I've had the phone for a few days and things have settled in more. But so far, it's the best phone I've ever owned.

Well Tmobile has basically all but ruined my one experience as a whole. Got the back order email yesterday afternoon when indeed I should have been receiving my one with overnight shipping.

They really have they're heads up they're butts and can't seem to get any one release right with dates and what not, theyre just as bad as at&t with the run around nonsense.

Anyway I ended up just using my at&t upgrade and grabbing the one. Will be cancelling my tmobile order today and using this a few days to see how I like it.

So in the last 2 days I wound up selling both my nexus 4 and iPhone 5...lol, lost without ties to both worlds...hahaha

Never had a problem with AT&T myself. Ordered the One on the 4th got it the day before release. Ordered the iPhone 4S and received it overnight. Had a Samsung Captivate that was dropping calls after 1 min. AT&T Overnight-ed the replacement and provided return shipping @ no cost. Another time we added a 4S at a walmart and they screwed it up and created a second group on my account. One phone call was all it took and they waved the $35 activation, and gave me a $200 bill credit for my trouble. I guess they just like me :)

I am now the proud owner of the ONE! I wanted to get the Stealth Black after seeing it at BB, but no word on when you can get one. When I saw the Glacial Silver at the Sprint store, it looked great too so I pulled the trigger and got it. Had to open two boxes before I found one I liked. The first had a good size gap on top and the shiny bevel near the front facing camera had a gouge in it. The second one had no gaps on the bottom and a very very slight gap on the top - less than a sheet of paper. Now the fun starts.........

So it finally shipped last Friday. Fingers crossed that it arrives today.

Finally got mines yesterday evening. I would've had it sooner but I couldn't decide on this vs S4. Either one I picked up I would've felt like I should of went with the other. Usually a lover for Samsung's products, but after being away from Android since the Galaxy Nexus and my last phone was an iPhone 5, I couldn't trade off the premium build. Software wise I will give it to Sammy. Sense 5 isn't bad at all though. Still threw Action Launcher on it ha-ha. Love the phone. The phone feels slippery to me though & they complain about that with plastic phones smh..Anyways..

^^ wish black was available here

Looks so clean

Yea, Sprint had it online in black as well, and should be having them in stores actually. A Sprint sales lady said they just received them and didn't even know because I actually went back to swap it out within the 14 day period with a S4...(sorry was having wifi issues and I really wanted the S4 deep down inside) She opened the box and was like, how did you get the black one..I said I ordered it offline. When she went back to get my S4 she noticed they had a bunch of black ones in the back that just came in today. I'm not gonna lie, it was a clean as looking phone. Functioned well, but I couldn't get over the Wifi issue. It no longer connected to Wifi for me. Even after reboots etc. Regardless of fix or replaced I wanted the S4 honestly...
