I currently have a Samsung Galaxy SII(Boost Mobile) and I want to know how I can transfer my apps that I paid for to Samsung Galaxy Note II (T-Mobile). I was told by the T-mobile rep that when I log in my gmail account my apps will automatically appear but that didn't happen. I don't care about the free apps just the ones I paid for. Can anyone help with this? Is it possible?

Your Google Play account should be the same as your gmail account. Whatever account you used to pay for apps would have stored all the apps that you purchased, so you will not need to pay for them again. The apps are linked to your account, not the phone you are using. That should translate to any future Android phone that you use.

The only thing that would hold you back from being able to use a paid app is if that particular app is not compatible with your new phone. Otherwise, the T-Mobile rep was partially right in telling you what he/she did. The part that he/she was not correct on was that you just simply need to log into your gmail account and the apps will appear. You still have to re-download the apps back onto your new phone...LOL.

I just downloaded my apps from my apps from the play store. It wasn't explained to me that way. He told me once I log in my gmail that my apps will appear. Thanks for you help. It worked like a Champ

No problem. I wish it were as easy as just being able to log into your account, but the cpu of the phone still needs to have the proper files installed to actually run.
