Its been Chairshot and me all along! I'm moving on to the Samsung Victory and he will continue on with the Evo. Expect continued fixes and solid ROMs from him. He is a hell of a dev! I'll still be poking my head in from time to time.

Yes. S-on with Smartflash is just a way to flash kernels, I think. AOSP needs an hboot downgrade.

Has anyone else experience significant battery drop with the latest release? within an hour and without running anything I get 30 % less.

I am currently running the 5/1 build. Do I need to do a wipe to update to the 5/2 build, or can I just flash it?

I can confirm that the wimax log fix is still needed. Flashed 5/2 yesterday and had no space left this morning. Flashed the wimax fix and back to 300+ mb free now.

just coming from Nsciucco's roms and I'm noticing a issue with my signal. It was definitely stronger and GPS didn't have a problem with a lock on. Is anyone else noticingthis?

I haven't made the GPS correlation but I, too, am having signal issues. I'm not in a 4G area so there's no point in talking about that... but my 3G is now consistently 1X and data transfer over the network is now really, really poor. Thank goodness for wifi!

Theres no wimax here in this area....go figure......big ass naval/army area and no wimax and we are just getting LTE for sprint. My signal jumps all over between none and full. weirdest thing ever. Im hoping it is the Hboot.

I haven't had issues with GPS locking, but it seems to be using way more battery when active. I used Google maps for about 10 minutes the other day and my battery dropped over 30%. Though GPS tends to drain battery more than most other components, it's never been that drastic.

I have also experienced pretty poor signal as of the last two builds (5/1 & 5/2), though my data speeds have been decent, which is nice because I have always seemed to have problems with incredibly show 3g speeds. I also haven't been experiencing any more issues with calls taking forever to dial or start ringing since the 5/2 build.

For reference I am using the 1.09.00.0108 radio
