Root [ROM] Angry Bean / CM 10.1 [build 08.08.13]

Posted an update

5/10/2103
∙ Updates from CyanogenMod
∙ Update vendor files, now using Stock DRM Blobs.
∙ Kernel Tweaks, looking to extend battery life.

For the most part is a cleaned up version of the 05/02/2013 Rom. Made a few Kernel changes that will hopefully make the battery life last longer. Is definitely running pretty cool in general. Have also sent and received a bunch of MMS messages without issue.

I noticed a bad crash loop when using talk back feature with gesture support. If you need a log I can figure out a way if you need it. Also there is a screen shot of what happens on boot then crash.

Also the only way to fix it was a safe mode reboot if you are lucky. Took me six crashes. First it freezes then crashes. I was lucky to take the pic.

Also I have a tip / question is there a possibility to check the prl at all, even in a Linux command line?

Also another bug is that hdmi is not working. Also when I unplug the adapter the device gets stuck in landscape mode. (also sorry for so many bugs, though I hope it helps)

Negative, hope to be working on it today.

If you could provide a log on the Talk-Back that would Rock. Have tried reproducing the issue multiple times and am not having any issues. Is this using the stock version or the Market Update. I tested after installing the Talk-Back update from the Play Store. Had a few issues with Voice Search but Play Store update resolved the issues.

With HDMI I flashed the previous 3 builds and was a know go. With the 5/10 build would go into landscape mode when I plugged it in but have yet to be stuck and has switched back out of landscape after unplugging. The 2 builds prior plugging in HDMI is forcing a reboot. With all that said can anyone confirm the last build HDMI had worked. Team Hydra has made allot of changes in the Kernel the last few weeks so a reference point in time when it had worked would be very helpful.

Not sure with the PRL, still using the stock prl and had never updated. I know with my triumph I could run getprop in a terminal or ADB and it would show but just ran the command and does not seem to be the case. Have a few Mom day things to do but will look at these again later on.

...Have also sent and received a bunch of MMS messages without issue.

Everything works fine for direct one-one MMS. It is group MMS which Messaging has trouble.

In 5/2 Messaging would FC when clicking the group mms thread.

In 5/10 it no longer FC but it does not display the received messages.

Okay sounds good best of luck to ya Chairshot. If I could help I would but I have no idea how to dev.

In every CM 10.1 I've always had this issue. However, when I was on Negalite the messages would come in when I was in a group chat but they would be in seperate threads and not all in the same thread. Maybe Chairshot can look into that.

All of them except SD card (4ext)

sorry, busy weekend!

Hmmm, your problem sounds like the same one that I am having. I can't determine if it is an issue with battery reporting or battery life, or possibly a mix of the two. I have very similar battery graphs to yours, though mine have not been over that long a period of time.

Are you seeing these drops only when you reboot or during normal use as well?
