Root [ROM] Angry Bean / CM 10.1 [build 08.08.13]

After having a hell of a hard time finding it for a second time here it is.https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B6_Tz9dzbmKxakJvd2JUWTQ1MmM/edit?usp=drive_web

Also if you can do it I remember a rom that was very similar that in settings you could select an option that would allow the three dots for app menu to pop up, but I don't see it.

Also if you need any of the log files from previous posts please let me know. I had to rearrange my Google drive a little.

For the 3 dots do:
System -> hardware keys -> show action overflow

I just stumbled on it earlier today

Flashed this ROM last night. I want to thank you to the developer for putting out such a great ROM.

I have noticed a few issues though:
1. Audio playback does not switch to headphones when headphones are plugged in. (steps to reproduce below)
2. Audio seems to be pitch shifted, possibly with the center channel removed when playing through headphones (steps to reproduce below)
snip

How to reproduce issues 1 and 2:
- Plug headphones into phone
- Begin playing music through the Play Music app.
- While music is playing, do a google now voice search
- Notice music begins playing on phone speaker.
- Unplug headphones
- Press the play button in Play Music. Progress bar should indicate that music is playing, but no audio is coming from the speaker.
- Plug in headphones. If necessary, press the play button again.
- Music should start playing over headphones, but sounds odd (pitch shifting, minus center channel)
- Close the Play Music app
- Relaunch Play Music
- Begin playing song, sounds normal.

It seems that running a google now voice search with headphones plugged in messes with the headphone detection...

FWIW I have experienced this in most CM roms to various degrees of drives me nutz or just unplug the phones , stop music , plug back in and move on.
Sometimes receiving an phone call will do the same thing ie screw up my music playback. Unplug re plug, continue.
In closing I *think* its a cm thing, .

Great rom, once again. Unfortunately I'm still having MMS troubles. It just sits at sending even with 3G on but never actually sends or receives. That's the only thing that's really bothering me with this rom, everything else is great!

Do you have a file manager installed? I will need a file from your phone that is not a sd card partion.

It looks like mine but in a different order though, I dont think that would make to much of a difference though. hmm It must be a provisioning error on some other file. Did you wipe all partions except sd card and then reinstall the rom?

I did wipe everything ex SD card. I also restored my data from previous version, could that be a problem?

That's it right there. What I usually do is backup everything using titanium backup and then use "create update.zip" to restore. Also I tried using data restore using the partion backup and always had problems when I had stock rom problems. If you restored data from a totally different rom to this rom of course it could be causing a lot of conflicts depending on roms.

In my experience restoring data in general can be iffy. Especially with CM10.1 at this point because it is constantly being updated by the CM Team so if for example they make some changes to a few apps which I see they do every time I sync the code depending on what has changed the update may not vibe well with what data is stored for the app in the data partition or caches. With that said I’m sometimes guilty of not wiping data but will wipe both caches and system if I don’t. Just need to remember to flash Gapps again after a system wipes. Also if I notice anything acting up will first do a full wipe and try and reproducing the issue on a fresh clean install. Also all testing I do with the Rom is after a full wipe of everything but the sd card. It’s not so bad with the new update features. I do a full wipe and flash, after that I let it sit for about 10 minutes until my apps have been restored and then reboot. After the reboot all my old settings from my last install are restored including sound options and even the wallpaper I had set before doing the wipe.

First, THANK YOU Devs for this ROM! I am currently using it as a daily ROM, and so far everything is great!

I have been flashing back and forth between Harmonia and this ROM, and I always do complete wipe, since all I need to do is restore my contacts and re-install Google Apps.

On edit, I do have a couple apps that I restore from TB since the have data I don't want to lose
