I'm super stoked to release this as I have been working really hard and learning quite a bit along the way.

First order of things: CREDITS!

  • Merc for answering all my noobish dev questions. Has been a super big help!

To all the people I learned/stole from:

Mr. Bobo- this rom has a framework that is somewhat based from his framework res.apk. Most of it has been changed, but a lot of his work is in there.

Bloodawn- I stole his sysui and modified the living %@#$! out of it.

Dizzle and DM- I used dizzles modified version of DM's Alien kernel. It took me quite a bit of work to make it run with a B10g rom, but alas, this is not my work or my kernel, so thanks to both of these guys for a sweet kernel!

Jimsmith80- for the wifi tether fix!

Again: Merc: I could not pass up his modified stock MMS.apk. This one blows them out of the water (Convert to multimedia, many character and size limitations removed). Also for his Powernap script.

Random Devs and users on XDA for helping with a lot of issues I was having, thanks to them for taking me seriously and not treating me like a noob and actually responding to my queries (tip for new guys learning- search for an answer first and demonstrate that you have done as much and actually tried your hand at whatever it is you are trying to accomplish, be clear and concise and as exact as possible, and they will more than likely help you, but I have seen guys go there and just get reamed for bad etiquette, I made sure I wasn't one of them).

Now on with the show:

  • B10g

Debloated and a few stock apps replaced, and some extras added:

Latest updated Playstore, google music, gmail etc.

    Camera ICS

    titanium backup

    mifileexplorer

    flashlight HD

    quickpic

    realcalc

    superuser

    voltage control

    Alien Kernel: http://androidforums.com/boost-mobile-warp-all-things-root/645932-alien-kernel-dm47021-updated-3-0-gosh-i-update-alot.html
Modded by Dizzle. I know a lot of people really liked the stability of his last build, reported that his rom had some of the best audio out of all the roms etc., well I ported all of that over :)

64 ZRAM- it's running super nice.

SD Read ahead- set to 2046. I have tested with multiple classes of sd cards under numerous different conditions- this setting has always gotten me the best results.

    ADW launcher

Ported HTC keyboard "HTC IME Mod": http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=624416

    Paranoid Android live wallpapers

    Working LMT launcher!! http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1330150

I know a few people have been wanting to get it running on the warp. I have tested on multiple roms, and it does not work anywhere else. I had to do a bit of work to get this running, and it works flawless as of now with one caveat: No recent apps, but that's OK, I have added that for you in notifications.

    Wifi/usb tethering

    CRT off

Sysui.apk: JB style notifications panel. This has lidroid panel integrated but moved to the bottom of the notifications panel. At the top is the JB style quickpanel which has day/date/time settings shortcut, recent apps shortcut, and clear shortcut.

    Swipe to clear.

Settings.apk: In settings I have integrated quickpanel settings and shortcuts to edit hidden menu items without the need for MSL. This is really handy if you are a phreaker like me and want a shortcut. A lot of other ROMS have some pretty neat stuff like overclock menus and so on, but I prefer a stable system and the choice of app to do those kinds of things. So rather I included something proprietary to the system that lets me play with stuff that is a little bit more out of reach.

If you want to play with this I recommend this page as a starting point:

    http://androidforums.com/boost-mobile-warp-all-things-root/662325-does-changing-your-vocoder-really-increase-your-data-speed.html

This ROM will clock a nice 6100 antutu score out of the gate, but it's out of box setting is 1024 (I just don't need anything faster than that), but voltage control is included, and so you can clock it however you like.

The system is very stable and includes the latest busybox. I have had it tested by a few people and nobody has reported a bug yet! But if you find one please let me know and I will try to the best of my ability to push an update out, but understand I have twin infant babies, so things go slow in this department for me.

As of the date of this post, all apps are up to date.

Themes:

Theme by SkinnyJeans: Touch of Ice Cream Jelly (this one looks really good on this rom if you are looking for a stock ICS/JB look): http://androidforums.com/boost-mobile-warp-all-things-root/708716-theme-touch-ice-cream-jelly-w-optional-emoticon-packs.html

If you have any issuea with the wifi let me know, and I should be able to help you sort it out

Cool and thank you ;) I just decompiled services and switched out the wifi smali and recompiled. I can only assume this is what I was supposed to do correct?

I can't really test because my computer won't let me tether (old chipset- ghetto) lol.

Ah, I knew I couldn't be the only one all those months back... I was on noob when I tried loading some custom roboto fonts into my system, my phone froze and got stuck in a boot loop. Same thing happened on CTmod. Turned out it was the actual fonts, and the results were no different when I tried using Rom Toolbox to install the fonts for me. I had to get the fonts from another source to get it to work. Its weird though...

I've also noticed that Windows' built-in font viewer doesn't like to display Android's TrueType fonts. Weird.
