All app downloads fail for new phone

Hi,

I just received a Nexus 4 to replace my Atrix. I was really happy that it started loading all my apps after I logged in with my google Account - just to receive like 50 failure messages for app installation.

What went wrong? Can I avoid selecting every single app to be installed?

Thanks!

Is the error "invalid package file"? I had that happen to me when I first got my N4 when trying to download over wifi. Mobile data worked just fine, though.

Here's what I did. Go to wifi settings and forget your current network, then go to settings>apps and clear cache and data for the play store. Reboot the phone and reconnect to your wifi network. Then open the play store and try installing a small app. Barcode Scanner is pretty compact. If it succeeds, try a larger app.

I would still get the "invalid package file" error, but it eventually cleared itself up and now only has problems on weak connections.
