Recently after I did a factory reset (installed the same apps I had before) a strange blue (see photo) appears on my phone homescreen icon. What could be the cause of this?
I think you'll find it's just a selection indicator, like when you use a controller with a D-pad on a console. My old galaxy portal had a built in D-pad and would select items like this. Just ignore it.
Its just weird and no it dosent stay there all the time. And i am currently having another problem now, it started today. When I download apps outside the play store (I enabled install from unknown sources) then tap the install icon nothing happens, it dosent seem to respond to the touch but the cancle button does. Why does that happen? I might just have to do a factory reset for the second time. :'(
I checked and my layout boundaries were never checked on. It just looks like a selection thing but it wasn't there before some updates ago. Now sometimes it just appears there
