Root [ROM] MidnightRom: Sense 1.5.4

Currently in the process of flashing my Sprint Evo 4G to Virgin Mobile, and I must say by looking at benchmarks people are posting I'm quite interested in flashing this ROM onto the device once I get it working on Virgin.

Currently have an Optimus Elite and I love it, but the screen gets me for the Evo, along with me having an extended battery pack for my Evo.

If I can truly get 2.9k+ or around 4k on a benchmark I think I'll let you have my kids OP.

Battery wise though? How does that do? Can anyone give me an estimate on some good clocking speeds? Just curious as to if I can last a good day or so with this ROM while having it running fairly high performance wise. Thanks.

Are you referring to the one and only, original EVO 4G (OG EVO)? The phone that started it all? Or are you talking about an EVO 3D?

If you have an OG EVO, the ROMs in this forum won't work properly. They are designed specifically to the phone. Check out the EVO 4G forum for ROM options.

That being said, it would be so freaking cool if developing a ROM were as universal as developing an app, or Windows. In other words, any ROM would work on any device...as long as the minimum specs were met.

This would totally make things awesome with development. Instead of an "audience" of 250,000 people for a particular ROM, it would be millions and millions.

Any reason why my upgrade from 149 to 153 is not rooted? If I go back to a stock rooted rom, everything works as intended. If I flash version 153, my device does not have root access. I am flashing with EXT4 Recovery.

So, um, are there any download mirrors for this that, I dunno, don't suck? lol. I would be more than happy to put this on my google or amazon storage. This thing's telling me it's gonna take 14 hours. Granted I'm using my 3G connection, but it should only take an hour 1/2 tops. I'm downloading this because 1: I can't update my PRL with mobster rom, and 2: it sounds like i might like it better lol.
