Help Static in AUX port on sIII but not iPhone 5, any thoughts?

Yeah thats valid mate and if the s3 output is too low and having to be amplified by the car stereo then its gona have a lot of noise. Same if you have the output too high youre gona get distortion. I use my s3 as my home driver for music with a powerful amp and big speakers and the secret is to find a "sweet spot" for the s3 output volume

I had bought a $20 AUX cable from Radio Shack and had a lot of static and crackling noise and most of the time the sound would only be in 1 or 2 speakers. I took it back and just happened to stop by a Dollar General store on the way home and saw a $4 cable so I thought, WTF........turns out, it works incredibly well :D

After looking at the Amazon link above, I may end up getting this one..... Amazon.com: HomeSpot NFC-enabled Bluetooth Audio Receiver for Sound System: MP3 Players & Accessories .......just so I won't have wires all over the place.

I am thinking that my EM interference is related to my ultra-cheap cable I'm using? I also wonder if shanezam203 has used all the same equipment as with the iPhone?

Same AUX to headphone 3.5mm cable from the car and it is 100% on iPhone and poor on the Galaxy s3 ONLY when the s3 was plugged into the Proclip USA power dock. when off the dock, it was 100% like the iPhone.

I got a bluetooth adapter today in the mail for $20, I will try it and report back.

Hmmm.... Sounds like it's the dock rather than the phone.

Edit: Actually, maybe mine only is noisy with the charger in. I'll have to check on that. However, the noise is only when it's not playing.
