Root [OUDHS] Clockworkmod Recovery 6.0.1.9

Ok guys. Im having problems after i use odin to flash cwm then the phone reboots. I reboot it into recovery but i think im still on stock recovery. It does not say anything bout cwm. Also i can not get SuperSU+ to flash. I always get a E: failed to install invalid signature.. message. Please help this was simple on the prevail.

Are you letting it fully after using Odin? If so, that's the problem... The stock ROM will install the stock recovery on boot. Flash cwm with Odin and as soon as it resets hold volume up to boot into recovery. (Or pull the battery, then boot into recovery with vol down & power

So i have tried flashing both versions with Odin. When I pull the battery (before the restart) and try to go into recovery mode, it gives me a yellow error sign as its loading the Samsung logo, and proceeds to overwrite CWM with the stock image.

I am not sure where I am going wrong, but I cant get it to boot into recovery at all after I flash it.

Is there anyone who might know whats wrong ?

The yellow sign is normal. It mean you using custom firmware (ie - you flashed cwm. )

Once you have the phone turned off, hold Vol up THEN hold power until you see the Samsung logo, then release power, but continue to hold Vol up until you see cwm

So for some reason, I cannot get it to boot correctly into CWM. I looked a little more, and it is booting into Android System Recovery 3e.

I flashed the CWM, and pulled the battery, put it back in, held the vol + and pressed the power just like is described above. It refuses to boot into the recovery mode, even after 8+ tries, it just boots normally and overwrites the CWM stuff.

Is there something I am doing wrong ? The Odin says that it has passed, and is safe to reset.

The com number shows up, but it is blue. The drivers did install fine.

It says on the download screen that I have updated the binary 9 counts, Version is m830vpalk7, current binary is custom, System status is Official.

I did like you said, let it auto-restart. Held the up key from the second the screen went black. It still boots into the normal phone mode.

I have rooted my Replenish in the past, and I am experience with Odin, and ADB. I really am stumped.

I am having the exact same problem as poster above.

It started with an OTA update to jelly bean from a NON rooted phone

I could not get into download mode from the button combination so I made a jig and was successful in getting into download mode.

I flashed BOTH Rush m830 final and touch rush and either way I cannot get into recovery mode for the life of me. Odin flashes everything just fine and weather I auto reboot or not I cannot get into recovery it always goes through the normal boot into the os. I have tried pulling the battery and holding volume up and power I get the yellow triangle but after that it boots normally. ANY help would be appreciated!

i and others had problems with it goin into recovery the first time u mite have to reflash CWM a couple of times for it to finely work right

also try holding the vol up button first then power and continue to hold the vol till u get into recovery

I did uncheck auto reboot. I pulled the battery and held the volume up while pressing the power, this does show that the CWM was installed, but then boots into stock Android recovery, and wont let me access the CWM recovery.

Figured it out! So my camera button was stuck so I took the back cover off and removed the button.

I flashed custom touch with odin and like usual everything flashes fine.

I pulled the usb cord and pulled the battery

As soon as I put the battery in I held Vol Up and Power and to no avail it booted to the boost logo. So I tried one more time.

Flashed, pulled battery, held vol up and power as soon as the samsung logo disapeared and didn't let me into recovery i yanked the battery BEFORE the boost logo and put it back in, held vol up and hit power again without flashing and low and behold cwm came up! I am now flashed and rooted thanks!

Step 1 flash with odin

Step 2 pull battery and unplug cord

step 3 hold vol up and power

step 4 if the samsung logo comes up and no recovery IMMEDIATELY pull the battery

step 5 re-insert battery hold vol up and power and you should get cwm like I did.

I tested this method twice. I flashed cwm and let boost re-flash my recovery to stock and reflashed with cwm again and it did the same thing it kept going to boost logo so I pulled the battery right after the first samsung logo put it back in and voila was able to get into cwm.
