Calendar Pad not syncing to google calendar

I have two Verizon Lg Lucids with Calendar Pad installed. In the past few days items I add to the phones will not sync with google calendar. If I add the item directly to google calendar they will sync to the phones. I also have a Samsung Galaxy Tab with calendar Pad installed. Items I add to Calendar Pad on the Tab will sync with google calendar. I've even tried downloading the google calendar app to the phones and using it to add items to Calendar Pad, still won't sync. Seems to be some problem with the LG Lucids and Calendar Pad? Suggestions? Thanks!

I am not familiar with calendar pad so if this is way off I apologize. Most calendar apps allow you to enter events into different calendars. So if you are in calendar you probably have a choice of entering it into the phone calendar, google calendar and maybe some others. Make sure you choose google calendar

Thanks for the reply about using the google calendar on my phones. I did download the google calendar for the phone and use it to enter events. They still don't show up on google calendar. On my Samsung Galaxy Tab I also have the Calendar Pad app installed and do not have the google calendar app. When I enter events on the Tab using the Calendar Pad app they do appear (sync) with google calendar. This problem started recently with the phones, we've had them about 1 1/2 years and I've always used the Calendar Pad app which worked fine for syncing with the google calendar until now. Thanks for your suggestion but something else appears to be going on.

I did not explain things properly. You did not need to download the Google calendar app. Within your Calendar Pad app you have the ability to add events in several calendars. I believe that you have a default entry to maybe "phone calendar" but you have the ability to change the default calendar for entry and that you should enter into Google Calendar. You must have the sync working since it syncs into the phone if you add it on the web.

Make sure the "Calendar" option in the Sync section of your phone settings menu is verified to be on.

Thanks, that did it. I used the calendar option called Calendar in my phone (com.android.calendar). I didn't try that lately because it's never worked to sync items to google calendar in the past. I've always used the Calendar Pad option. Now for whatever reason the option that didn't work in the past now works and the one that did doesn't! I have to try to remember to try the simple things first including things that I don't think will work. Thanks very much,

Oops, events I add to my LG Lucid phone calendar are not syncing to the desktop google calendar. Items that I add to the desktop calendar do sync to the phone's calendar. I downloaded the latest google calendar for android and followed all the troubleshooting steps with no luck. (I'm not using the Calendar Pad app as before but the google android app.) Sync seems to be set up correctly on the phone and the one way sync would seem to indicate that it's working in one direction. Ideas? Thanks. Ron
