Root [ROM] Angry Bean / CM 10.1 [build 08.08.13]

Yeah sorry for the most part I test and troubleshoot EMS diagnostic systems and around May when everyone switches over from heating to cooling for the first time it’s like a month of hell.

So the backlog, lol.

Yes the ROM compiled with Linaro.

At the moment 4g works but sucks it up on the ASOP Roms and runs the battery pretty fast. Pretty sure this is why.

They are using a patched up version of the CM7 Wimax app. It works but still thinks there is another way. Just haven’t found one yet. Trust me I have been looking.
Otherwise with Battery the first day I got about 30 hours but after signing into my Gmail, work Email, Facebook, Pulse and Forum app I’m down to about 12 hours. Usually the charge on my ride home from work will get me through the rest of the night.

Should hopefully have some more time going forward and have been testing a few things, just nothing worth warranting an update.

Has anyone experienced bad boot looping with this ROM? I went to make a call on Google hangouts last night and my phone froze up so I had to pull the battery. Now I'm boot looping and can't get out of it, with the white HTC screen coming up and hanging around for ~30 seconds before going black and doing the same thing again. The bad news is that I can't get into recovery at all... I've tried from the bootloader and through fastboot, both leading to endless boot looping.

I erased the cache and userdata partitions from fastboot to no avail. I then ran the RUU and it is still doing the same thing.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance for your help.

I'm also noting that when I turn the phone off and plug it into the wall nothing happens. If I press the power button to turn it on, the red LED turns on for a few seconds and then goes off. I don't recall what the normal behavior is, but shouldn't the phone turn on and charge?

I'm beginning to wonder if there is something wrong with my battery. I can't boot the phone without it in though, so there isn't any way of determining if it is the cause or if something else is causing it (bad NAND maybe..) . There aren't any virgin mobile stores around either.

yeah, and I see the same thing happen unfortunately :/ The phone actually refuses to turn on if it is plugged in. If I want it to turn on I have to do so unplugged. EDIT: Also, once I have tried to turn the phone on when plugged in I have to do a battery pull to get it to boot off the charger as well.

I haven't been messing around with any other kernels, so whatever comes with Angry Bean. Plus at this point I have RUUed and am still seeing the exact same behavior.

Pulled it apart, held the power button, back together...same thing.

I've tried different chargers and my computer, all do the same thing. It's actually boot looping when it in from being off too, the screen just isn't coming on. My computer keeps making the device connected/disconnected sounds, plus I see the red led come on briefly right before my computer recognizes it.

Wouldn't you say it almost sounds like the boot partition is messed up somehow?

I'm taking a stab here but it could be your charging port. You can try to fastboot a stock kernel since you did the ruu though. Couldn't hurt.

I have all my apps that can be on the SD card on the SD card but still have the constant available space problem. Anyone have a similar ROM that is a little monotre lightweight? But android 4.2.2 or 4.2.3?

I have about 20 downloaded apps, and still have 3/4 of internal memory available. I use the AngryBean ROM. Maybe there is something else wrong with your system? Maybe wimax log is not getting reset?

How can reset this log? I mean I have like 20 apps but most are on SD card. In fact all are on SD card. except you know the new stuff. Not sure why but I only have like 60mb of free space on internal memory. I installed on the 26th and really have not had an issue until yesterday. I will attempt to reinstall
