Root Flash recovery?

I just rooted my premia but I don't know what to do next, any tips for a noob?

Well for starters, you could go and check on Google Play that are apps specific to "root users"...

Then you could do such things as freeze/remove bloatware etc etc. The only downside to being and having a rooted device that i've ever personally seen was that i'm not able to stream movies from Redbox instant. The only downside.

Other then that if your interested in installing custom roms and such you can check around here on the forums for help with installing such roms...if they exists already. Everyone here on Android Forums is totally awesome and always willing to help.

Edit: Perhaps http://androidforums.com/premia-4g-all-things-root/703535-huawei-premia-4g-all-things-root-guide.html will add some insight :) Happy rooting and good luck :)

Btw: Welcome to Android Forums!:D

Probably not anytime soon. Root is a plus, you can use all kinds of root apps and delete bloat. I wouldn't put money on having custom ROMs anytime soon, we don't even have any kind of custom recovery yet. Oh yeah, and our bootloader is locked which means for the time being we can only use 2ndinit recovery and ROMs, like the Motion uses. I have personally tried Motion's 2ndinit recovery on my Premia and it won't work, needs some tinkering.

Not trying to be a downer here, I'm just letting you know where we stand with post-root goodies, which is still nothing..

Wow all bad haha dang, me wanting 4.2 on this 4.0, well at least I was able to freeze metros crapware but I wasn't able to uninstall them which was weird although this reminds me when I had my nexus 4g the whole 4.0 "nexus" experience :thinking:

Om T

Yes I'm rooted haha or else I wouldn't have posted haha and TB only let's me freeze them but not uninstall plus it just hides the metro apps from the app drawer but other than that I can't :/:(

I had the same issue with removing the stuff.. just use root explorer and delete them yourself.. all the bloat is found in cust > metropcs > us and hunt em down there. :D Oh and TB was extra useless on this phone for me... unlike my old one :(
