I have had to replace my Razr Maxx HD after breaking my LCD under the glass. Upon setting up my phone with the same apps that I had before I now have a white number battery level indicator on my status bar on the left side. I have gone through every setting on the phone and through every app installed that I can think of to remove this as I prefer Gauge Battery Widget and its customizable graphical battery level instead. I did not have this white level on my previous device, I have no new apps. I want to remove this from my status bar. Does anyone know how to get rid of this as I want it gone, when I slide open the notification pane the number goes away and when I close it back it is back in the status bar. Again it is the number of the upper left edge, I an attaching a screenshot of this for you guys to look at. Thanks

If Battery Guru has been removed, but the icon persists, then it has to be part of another app. Its definitely not part of the standard ROM that came with the phone. What other apps do you have, perhaps some widget designer, or a state controller (wifi, BT, GPS, battery)?
I found the culprit. It was switch pro widget. There was a check box for show battery level. I checked it off and it is now gone. Thanks, it was driving me crazy.
