How to download Play store apps from PC ?

Hi,

I brought android tablet recently but I have no sim card in it. So there is no internet connection for the tablet. But I have internet connection to my PC.

So is it possible to download apps on Google play store from PC and copy them to phone?

I also tried this. I went to play.google.com from PC but it is showing this message - "This app will be downloaded to your device shortly."

Please help.

What you can do until your tablet becomes Internet-enabled is go to the Play Store on your computer and sign in using the same google account your tablet will use. Then you can go to the Play Store and get apps that your account can download later to the tablet. I often grab stuff for my phone this way.

(Or do you have to have a registered device first?)

To answer your question and add to what others here have already stated. You can install apps to your tablet from the Google Play website. What you need to do is log into both the website and your tablet using the same google account. Also you will need to have the google play app installed on your tablet so that you can associate your tablet with your google account. When you log into the website, search for the app that you want to install and then click on "INSTALL". You should then get a popup message allowing you to select which android device you want to install the app on. After doing this, if everything is ok, you should eventually see the app installed on your tablet. Make note that as mentioned by others, you would need to at least have internet access on your tablet by connecting to a wireless(wifi) network since you don't have a sim card installed. Apps are installed wirelessly from your pc to your tablet via the google play store website. No need to download apps to your pc and then try copying to your tablet. Hope this helps.
