Root Beats installer bricked me!HELP!

Not sure if there is anything you can do atm because we don't have cwm yet you can try going in to the stock recovery and doing a factory reset through there there's a post about it in these forums

Hurry maybe you can still get it replaced for free!!! Beats audio bricks lots of phones so don't feel bad about it. You're not the first and you won't be the last.

Just MAKE SURE it doesn't boot up or even power on when you bring it back. I don't think they can tell its rooted if it won't turn on LOL

Why in the world would you want beats audio installed? It's just an equalizer. It ups the bass and treble, and weakens the mid frequencies.

Just use the built in equalizer and change it to a preset of your liking.

Also, the Premia has piss-poor audio drivers. When I first bought the device, I had to change the CPU stepping just to keep it from stuttering when playing audio. Even after fixing that issue, the bass boost in most equalizers crashes randomly!

dont sweat it man, EVERY new phone ive seen someone has wanted beats working. and every single time there is 2-3 people who softbrick flashing random crap from other phones. the end result is always the same people want beats and are willing to risk their phones over it, because they want a brand.

OP acid mod is worlds better and more universal i suggest using them next time

Is there a way to install Acid mod without using a recovery? I currently run Beats but only because I can't find any other engine that can be installed without one other than DSP manager and that kept crashing.

Most of the "Beats" brand isn't even the equalizer, it's hardware (isolated sound board, non-metallic jack, etc). People are sofa king ******ed lol.

You were right. I looked it up and I never knew what Beats truly was. I switched to Viper and got rid of Beats. A world of difference. Thank you for pointing this out.

sorry to bring this thread back from the dead, but im new and just looking around...

I bricked my razr twice attempting to put beats on it. once i finally got it work, i wasnt impressed at all. Shabby's right, ACiD mod is one of the greatest available, along with the Dolby Mobile i found to be as well...

So after a few hours of some serious aggervation due to BEATS audio and its worthless drivers. i did a little research and found out that BEATS is owned by the monster cable company, who paid dr dre. millions to put his name on there product and is selling headphones for several hundred dollars. marketing at its finest i suppose, im not hating on them though lol. I worked with a guy who had the htc phone with beats installed factory along with some headphones, and with the speaker on instead of the head phones. my razr with ACid mod, hands down sounded waaay better than that htc with beats audio. Ive never heard of Viper, but i will look into it now that i have this m391.
