Pull the battery. Re-insert the battery then hold down the home+volume down then the power button (all at the same time). Hold until you see the recovery menu. The factory reset is there as well.

I have the same problem, and i know how to fix it by downloading the ADW.Launcher, or go to settings very quickly, BUT the problem is i never kept my setting in the home screen i can't reach it, and i also cant download ADW.Launcher because my computer wont recognize the device when i connect it. im stumpped, help me please? (I know this is stupid, but its not a LG optimus, its KROSS tablet. Lol i know i shouldn't be on this post but i just tried)

I'm getting this on my LG Optimus S -- with ADW Launcher, but also with CyanogenMod 7.2. I could solve the launcher issue by restoring my old MVJ HydroROM setup from Nandroid, but I really would rather get CyanogenMod working right.
