I would like to purchase a quality bluetooth speaker for my Samsung Galaxy phones. I know that Dr. Dre currently has out the pink pill, which also comes in other colors, but I know nothing about what else might be available out there, so if anyone has any recommendations, or experiences with any of them, please share. I don't mind paying for quality, but also don't want to spend any more than is needed for quality sound. I want to make the best choice for the money, as my music, and my money are both extremely valuable to me.:)

I have the beats pill in black and love it. It sounds amazing and is surprisingly loud for such a small device. The only downfall is that it has basically no low end... as in bass. From a company like BEATS, that's hard to believe. But, it still sounds great. Out of all the professional reviews I've read, they said the pill was the best for the money. But Bose and another brand that is slipping my mind are better but for double the price, or more.

i have the Monster iClarityHD speaker, love it, it lasts for quite a few hours on a full charge, way way more then the 5 hours it's said to be, and the thing can take abuse, been knocked/dropped on to cement quite a few times (i use it for work) and still works perfect

for size it's quite small, probably like 2"x4"x2" or so, and it can get very loud, if need be

I'm planning on picking up the JBL Flip tomorrow; $99 at Best Buy. I'll post back here with my opinion. Online reviews have been outstanding. More volume and less distortion than the $129 Jawbone Jambox and other higher priced Bluetooth alternatives and it's more portable. I personally don't have a Jambox to compare it to though.

What did you end up getting damewolf13?

For under $30 this thing sounds fantastic...

Goal Zero

But it's not bluetooth.

But with something like one of these...

Sony MW600

it is. I know, some of the reviews for the MW600 don't sound so good, but I got lucky. Some of my audiophile friends are amazed when I tell them the speakers are under $30. Volume is quite adequate for me and it has a large battery. I use it every day for at least 2 hours and I charge it about once a week. The only thing it's lacking is great bass but with its size, I knew that going in.

Got the JBL Flip and man I'm impressed. Size of a large beer can and sound you won't believe. Why anyone would run these at full volume I don't know but I did it outside the mall I bought it at and actually drowned out their outdoor sound system. The picnic table actually started shaking but the sound stayed clear. I haven't had a chance to really put it through its paces; I just got home and am givivg it a full charge first. I will not, absolutely not be putting it through a full volume battery life test. It's so loud I know my neighbors would complain. :D I highly recommend these speakers. I'll do a separate review over in the accessories forum.

Sorry it took me awhile to see this.
Funny you should mention the JBL Flip.;)
I actually purchased the flip as well, and it is working out quite well for my needs. It has a good sound and lots of volume for a fair price.:)

High end, from Ultimate Ears UE Boom ($199): http://androidforums.com/samsung-galaxy-note-2/731328-review-ue-boom-wireless-speaker-w-pics.html - super compact with the best sound in this class. Blows beats and jawbone out of the water. Big Jambox has an edge in sound loudness, but that one is much bigger. Read my detailed review in the link.

Budget, from Anker ($29.99): http://androidforums.com/samsung-ga...-wireless-multimedia-speaker-w-lots-pics.html - this one is INSANE value with full multimedia controls (play/pause/stop/next/prev/vol up/down), BT 4.0 (low power support), aux in, speakerphone, 8-9hr of battery life, very loud for such a small size. A detailed review in the link above. Totally digging that one for indoors, while UE Boom is un-replaceable by the pool.
