Root {DISCONTINUED}MegaTron 6.2.5 (Updated 7/13/13)

ill test it out tomorrow i work in a few hours so i dont have time to play with it ill see its reaction to the 3500mah battery too lol,

btw chev is there a way you can re size the buttons they are slightly too big to the point were some apps like root explorer you cant read the writing because root explorer has set dimensions for the buttons and megatron is trying to override them same with some typing fields the buttons are so big it make the field window disappear and you cant see what your typing

ok i tested it out ... forgot to make a cwm backup again... but i did a titanium back up lol but anyways everything looks good this is what i noticed and in no way trying to criticize for it since its in beta just trying to help so you can create a list :p

Toggles not working
-packet data
-wifi hotspot
-flashlight (not led)
-screen capture
-quick panel config doesn't apply to the toggles

no fc on boot for anything?
(will add more later)

quickpanel config was for lidroid, use dcsms app located in your drawer. im aware of those toogles that are not working and they probably never will work, this is why your going to substitute them for your favorite apps by going to the dcsms app, slide from the left to the right and a panel will appear. tap on power widget and drag the toogle that does not working all the way to the bottom of the list. a free app space will appear in the notification toogle section. tap on it and you'll be able to add your favorite app for quick shortcuts to it,

right right didn't know you could configure it lol well I've been looking at it and everything seems to be running ok i haven't tried overclocking it or anything speeds look good and my camera app has less issues the only thing i see from a users point of view would make this beta version perfect would be the theme and those buttons re sized... idk about any other coding or anything if u want me to test something specific let me know

Is anyone on sprint trying the beta. Wife finally is letting me root her phone and I have followed this ROM exclusively. Hoping to do this tonight. Any advice besides op instructions or which version working best on sprint.

The beta Doesn't supports sprint right now. Please install 6.1.1 for sprint until 6.2.5 is completely done. Shouldn't be too long.

Just in case others download 6.2.5 and don't know...

DON'T UPDATE AFTER INSTALLING MEGATRON 6.2.5!!! For some reason, after installing the beta, OTA Updater wants you to install an older version, and I think this is what is getting people in trouble and causing them to brick their phones.

thats not the reason why people running the beta bricked their devices, they didnt even get to boot after installing 6.2.5 from what i saw. OTA updater update number is set to 6.1.1 so whether your below or above 6.1.1 it will tell theres an update available. It would only downgrade you back to 6.1.1, wont brick you.

I was just getting ready to ask bout that. Well, last night while flashing, my phone sat at the Megatron screen just a flashing away, for like 45 minutes... Then it buzzed like it does before it finally boots. Then my battery died. :'( When it came back on it was cool. No other problems though :-D

what helps is to do a battery pull after rebooting once flashed and then reinsert the battery and turn it back on it usually boots within a min.

After getting tired of odd reboot/crashes with the stock rom, I finally got around to trying out this one... and so far it's amazingly more stable. I'm using a Sprint version of the Transform Ultra (via Ting Mobile), and generally the last official Megatron release works well. However, I have a problem with enabling removed apps.

If I use the procedure mentioned in the first two posts (add the app to the ZIP, then use CWM to install the ZIP), it simply doesn't work. I did use a root explorer to copy the APK files over to system/app and change the permissions, and that worked, however...

Swype isn't working. When I open the Swype keyboard, I get the following message:
"This version of Swype has an invalid license and will operate with limited functionality. Beta testers please run the installer again. All others contact Swype about this issue."

Is there a work around for this? I assume that any license was burned into the stock ROM, and that just reinstalling the apk doesn't carry over the license... or maybe I'm misinterpreting this? I rather liked the version of Swype that came preinstalled on the Transform Ultra, and I would like to get it back, if possible.

here just use this and remove swipe all togeather dont put this in system/app just move it to your sdcard and with file explorer install it ... its way better than swipe... its customizable and it has flow witch is basically swipe...
