Help Unique problem here, need some outside input bad..

To save everyone a TL;DR type of thread, here it is short and sweet--

I have a broken phone here (a clients phone, so I know little about the interface, just FYI for the rest of the thread), Samsung Admire, LCD and touch screen are done for. So I can see and interact with nothing.

It boots fine, I can hear it do the little jingle "Hello, Hellloo, Hellllooo, Metro PCS" and the problem is I can't get it into USB mode without the touch screen/digitizer to get the necessary files I need off of it.

Is there anyway to get it into USB mode without the LCD or touch screen?
Or another way without USB mode entirely, that I can copy contacts/photos/videos?

My only viable option that I've been considering is just buying one (or broken/for parts) on Ebay and repairing it completely, just to get it into USB mode.

Am I correct in assuming this is my only real option? Thanks for your time and help <3

I was going to say root the phone, then go to usb mode in recovery but if your screen doesn't display then I don't see how that would work. As for photos and videos if you had a SD card, just take it out and put it in another phone and copy/paste your files.

There's really no way to get it into usb mode without the touch screen. If you have knowledge of adb you could use that if you have the right drivers installed and just pull the files from the phone, but if you don't know if usb debugging then it won't work.
