This is the same as any other flashlight app. The only difference is turning it on and off is instantaneous. Only draw back is the ugly 2x1 widget. I wish it were customizable and only 1x1

While not a feature of the phone, imediashare lite is a great app. I play CoD MW3 & Black Ops 2 and like to listen to my music whilst playing. The DLNA has never worked right for me and my Xbox. It would work for part of one song then stop. Well imediashare lite works great. You can share music, videos and pictures and also has some in app things to watch on your tv. You just have to be on the same WiFi network.

If you create an Alarm widget you can then add the alarms you want. Then touch the clock on the right to enable/disable the alarms. I have 4 on my widget.

You can long press the shortcuts in the notification screen to jump directly to the menu settings for that particular function!

Cool thread for a cool phone!

The coolest feature I have found is this:
In the calender app I'd put in an appointment I had a few miles away and put in the address. As I was getting ready to leave the house I received a notification saying that I needed to leave now to get to my appointment in time. Fantastic.

Google Now at its finest. I put addresses in all my calendar appointments now.

Go to Settings>Display>Notification Panel> You will be able to drag between shortcuts and add whatever is available in the set of shortcuts.

Go into playstore, left softkey brings up menu, then settings and uncheck the box for Auto-add widgets

Palm, I know your on Virgin Mobile as well, And I'm curious are you able to turn on Voice command for Apps within the setting of Language and Input menu?..

For most everyone its

LANGUAGE AND INPUT > VOICE CMD FOR APPS > SUB Menus for Apps.

I don't have a voice cmd for apps..

Am I missing something?

Go into s voice and open the settings menu in it. Voice command menu will be in there.

If you link your you tube app with your xbox, basically by using the same account.

when you use your phone to search in the app you can have it play on your x box by hitting the button on the video.

makes searching and playing much easier and allows you to line up a few videos.

The thread is excellent. I've had this phone for a while, and really haven't been using it's full potential. That briefing alarm thing is great (as is the voice control to turn it off. Now my shouting at my alarm serves a function)

This is a great thread! I've spent most of the afternoon trying out all kinds of stuff I didn't know about. The one thing I found really cool is the alarm briefing. But, how do I go back and edit the news location? I saw the option the first time I enabled alarm briefing but can't get that setting to come back up.

I like the option to hold a thumb on each side of the screen to zoom in or out of a picture. I also like the motion spanning when moving apps from screen to screen.

All the other options mentioned are cool too. A few of the custom ROMS I've ran add even more features. I've got a different LED color for each type of notification. Purple for SMS, yellow for email, blue for Facebook, etc, etc. I can customize them and swap the colors. Last I checked there are about 5 colors. Really neat.

Here's the really cool thing, I've only had this phone a little over a week and I find new things it can do everyday. SWEET!
