Help Android calendar apps sync event changes to Google Calendar but not back again

Hi,

It seems everyone having calendar sync problems is having the opposite problem of me. Here goes:

On my T-Mobile Behold II (1.6), I deleted a couple of events using Gemini Calendar that show up properly when I check Google Calendar from my computer, BUT those changes do not show up on my phone. Not in Gemini Calendar. Not in the stock calendar. Not in Touch Calendar. Not in CalWidget. This leads me to believe this one-way-syncing lameness is not an application-specific problem.

I've tried

-log in and out of google calender from my computer

-phone power-off and -on

-checking and unchecking the calendars I use from within the calendar apps to force a refresh

-in android sync settings, ensuring background data AND auto-sync = enabled (have also un-checked and checked these to force a re-sync, and they show a successful re-sync for gmail, calendar, and contacts)

But still no love.

Can anyone help me? Should I uninstall and re-install the apps or what? I don't really want to until I've exhausted all other options.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Did you get any further with this issue? I am synchronizing the Android 2.2 calendar (Samsung Galaxy S Fascinate) with Live.com using Exchange ActiveSync. Everything was working fine until sometime around February 6th when changes/additions on either Live.com or the phone were not being synchronized.

I tried the steps you outlined to get synchronization working. Although the Calendar Sync display indicated that synchronization had occurred, no data was transferred. I rebooted the phone and shortly thereafter events started synchronizing.

I feel your pain. In a few hours I have to exchange this photon for a new one because of the junkie power input.
The most important priceless database of information on this phone and in my life is my phone calendar.
I have my patients files, appointment dates, dating back a year and a half and now I am completely hosed.
Thanks a lot for answering the last guys question. Not cool.
