Review of Spigen Neo Hybrid, GlasTr, and Aluminum home buttons w/lots of pics!!!

Another tip I heard about when applying a screen protector (though I haven't tried it myself), is to apply the protector in the bathroom after somebody has taken a shower or a bath. The steam in the air will pull all of the dust in the air to the floor as it clears, so just wait until the steam has gone and away you go.

i actually have heard people doing that as well.... im going to try that when i get my replacement... thanks for the heads up

So, got my replacement and put it on with no dust to be seen. Instead of dust I now I a decent sized air bubble and a few small ones. The squeegee is not removing them and I can't get rid of them by smoothing out with my finger.... Any tips or tricks to get rid of them?

I've had a few glas protectors from Spigen and all seemed to have a few areas that didn't stick or bubbles left over. Now I only use the ghost glass from MimeUsa. They are flawless. Their customer service is top notch and offer replacements at 40% off. Second best is the Pure from Bodyguardz

i got an S4 last night and asked the verizon rep about this screen protector.

He said they do not sell them because they have not been tested by verizon and cant verify if the glass protector covering the sensor lights would affect them.

Can anyone verify that thre are NO issues with the protector on?

I have had no problem with the sensors. BUT, I have had issues with the camera. It covers the lens, and effects the quality of the pics.

I actually purchase the same case, but a different [glass] screen protector;

Amazon.com: Tech Armor Samsung Galaxy S4 SIV Premium Ballistic Glass Screen Protector - World's Clearest Screen Protector - Retail Packaging: Cell Phones & Accessories

The case is great, and so was the screen protector ... eventually.

I applied the screen protector in the bathroom after the hot shower had effectively fogged up the entire mirror - not sure I would recommend that. I followed the directions religiously, but found I had a few small areas, and two fairly large areas that just didn't seem to stick. Don't take this prior statement lightly, I was extremely disappointed at this stage and about ready to throw in the towel and order up yet another glass screen protector ... anything that wasn't going to look this terrible! (see a couple posts down for the image of how bad this looked, initially)

After trying to squeegee those spots out, I just couldn't get them to STAY out but I did notice that they COULD be eliminated if I pressed my thumb hard over them, but they would always return in a few seconds. I grabbed some very soft tissue (toilet or Kleenex) and folded it into a square. I then ripped off some small sections, about the size of the portion of the screen protector that wasn't staying the way it should. After applying a little scotch tape to those pieces, I lightly stuck them to those respective areas of the screen that didn't seem to take properly.

I found that flattest solid surface/table I own and put a sheet of printer paper on it, laid the phone on it, face down (with those pieces of tissue stuck to it in those strategic locations where I needed some focused pressure). I put a paper towel over the phone and stacked 10 lbs. of exercise weights on top of the phone (do this very carefully, at YOUR OWN RISK). It sat there like that for about an hour, and came out perfect. The only way you can tell the glass screen protector exists is by seeing it's edges around the perimeter of the phone.

Quite happy with the results.

Attached are a couple photos of the finished product with the Tech Armor Ballistic Glass screen protector. Although the edge of this glass isn't sharp, it isn't intentionally beveled like the Spigen.

I love this cover. Really want to buy it. The only thing stopping me from buying it is this one question.
Will L-shaped headphones fit normally through the cover?
I've been a bit doubtful that my awesome headphones won't fit through. :(
I have this awesome case...it does add some depth at the headphone jack however...so my high quality headphone jack will not make a fully secure connection due to the cord sleeve engaging the case before the metal connectors meet inside the phone.
My car cord to my stereo? I just carefully trimmed back the plastic sleeve on the cord a few mm and it fits great.
Same issue for 'some' non-Samsung mini-usb jacks...if they have a bulky sleeve, this case may prevent proper insertion.
