Oh, and just because its from source, doesnt mean everything will work. Someone put CM9 on the G1 but all you can do is make calls and look at the desktop, and no screen rotation. I have faith that most things will work, but it will be an incomplete CM10. If everything DOES work, fantastic

Don't expect to see CM 10.1 any time soon. Way too much kernel work to get anything near something you guys would find useful.

Thankfully the only thing I need to fix in CM7 is the camera (I know, I know). Wifi and RIL both look to be working from source. I'll release a build of 7 soon for you guys to test cell and data with.

This phone was my first foray into Android development, and I will not rest until it is officially supported by Cyanogenmod.

It's a closure thing at this point.

Also very important to me that I do it by myself, thankfully nobody ever really gave a **** about this phone, so no danger of that lol.

Also somebody with service that can test data, come see me on IRC. (Freenode/#oudhitsquad)

Yeah I broke CM settings adding the Device Settings menu entry.

It'll be fixed in the next version. Check out the fake dual-touch in Device Settings. Psuedo-multitouch for the win.

I think the admire is reminiscent of the old nokia 5100 series indestructo phone. Everyone can't stand it, everyone has it, you can't hurt it, and it just works. I have a feeling that until they won't work any more, because of network changes, there will still be someone using an admire. Hell I still use it as my daily (and only) phone. I couldn't imagine buying the latest and greatest every time it was released, except for development purposes. What a waste. Anyways, keep up the kick ass work aquer. Can't wait for a completed cm.
