I went into my local AT&T store today in an attempt to make small talk and pick up an application. I asked if the man working had a case for the Nexus 4 and pulled it out of my pocket. He proceeded to tell me that it is a Verizon phone and that he couldn't help me. I insisted that I was running through AT&T's towers using Straight Talk. He then tells me that that's a Verizon company and that I couldn't possibly be using AT&T's service. After a little more heated back and forth I find out he is the manager. Oops.
Still walked out with an application. :smokingsomb:
I think I may be a little overqualified. Should have it in the bag.
EDIT: Some of the continued conversation involved me having to explain the difference between GSM and CDMA. I also had to explain that the Verizon Nexus phone he was thinking of was the Galaxy Nexus and that I had the Nexus 4. He never did give in and insisted I was a Verizon user until I left. Either he is the wrong guy for the job or I just got trolled by a manager.
