I have drivers installed. I'm using Windows 7 64 bit SP 1. The PC at work is Win7, but I think it's 32 bit. I also used a PC with Win XP SP 3.

Also, I just tried LGNPST v2.2.3. When it's initializing, I get "ERROR: Unable to load [LGNPST_NVStorage5.dll] Component Path = Version = HR = 0x80040154."
That happened on both the XP and the 64bit pcs.

Did you install LGNPST compnents and LGNPST generic??

Also look in device manager and tell me if there are any drivers that aren't installed.

Yes, I installed LGNPST Components and Generic msi files.

In device manager, I have "LGE AndroidNet USB Modem", and "LGE AndroidNet USB Serial Port (COM1)". Is that all I should have, or is something missing?

Change COM1 to a different number. That might be the problem...but unlikely.

Do you have USB 3.0 Ports?
Do you have a USB Splitter/HUB?

You must use USB 2.0 port. You may have to install drivers in compatibility mode. I'm not sure.

The pcs I'm using are all USB 2.0. I changed the COM port to 41, 5, and 6. Still stuck.

i keep getting phone not found please help i did everything right and its in emergency mode. i was on bobzhomes and i had to flash back for gps. i restored incorrectly. and before that my phone wouldnt even connect to pc. so i think that is the problem. PLEASE HELP

Try a different USB cable, something that simple could be wrong. Also, try using a different USB port on your pc

help please. Im taking out CM10.1 and restoring to stock .. the program goes through 100 writes then returns to write step one then the phone just keeps rebooting and never stops. what do i do? I have restored this once before without incident.. same pc.. same drivers.

It's what I get in LG Mobile Support tool, trying to flash the official cab to my phone.

Did you convert the cab to kdz. If not it won't work.

You have to hold it down for a while. The lg screen should flash twice don't let go till you see reset options

Yes, I did. I downloaded the cab from csmg.lgmobile.com, and my phone's esn.

Then I converted the cab to kdz using the LG R&D Test tool, "UpTestEX_mod2_marwin.exe".

With that same program, I loaded the kdz file, clicked "Normal upgrade test", then "Upgrade Start".

That takes me to the support tool, which appears to work just fine until the moment the flashing is supposed to begin.
