Kool sounds good...just flash new version the new music app wasnt there and old music player still keeps saying unfortunately music has stop? I only got weather app n miui stats app and both weather widget work for me...

Try flashing the miui extras zip, i know the new music is in there, let me know how the rom runs for you after you try it for a bit

Also still says roaming indicator off ...kan u upload miui apps zip on drop box so I kan download?

Are you sure you got the right zip?

ive flashed this version 6 times since last night and i'm not getting the roaming indicator off or any crashes in music. i just checked and the new music is in the rom not the old one. How are you wiping the phone before flashing?

Is a Sprint version of the 7-18 update forthcoming? Would love to give this a try. Thank you for all your work on this ROM!

Yes I flash right rom zip of drop box ....n just downloaded miui apps of drop box bout flash now...basicaly before I flash I always use the new rom elite zip which it wipes everything den I flash rom den I flash gapps den I restore my data of course and den I fix permission always den I reboot ...

Make sure you have a backup and try this in recovery
wipe data/factory reset
wipe cache
under mounts and storage format /system
under advanced wipe dalvik
then flash

Either today or tomorrow more than likely, right now the internet is slow so I can't download the sprint version of cm9 to base it on

OK try it way u said n got stuck on lg screen den re flash without restore data n got new music app n roam indicator left gone...but SD card ext didn't show my file s music or photos but it show mounted onon storage settings...try restore data again n back to square one lol...

wow you have a messed up phone lol, the fstab is something i still need to work on. The file manager and music app should show the external sd card. I think its because this phone actually has 3 storage areas instead of 2 on most phones so it's difficult to get working correctly.

Ok i've been looking at it, the file manager shows both the internal sd card and the external sd card, the music will scan the internal sd card and the internal is what shows up when mounting to the computer

Do you restore ur data or no? And does mucic n gallery stuff on ext SD take long read? Beside dat rom wavey a lot faster smoother 2 den cmiui version just gotta see y music app doesn't work ...n of course roaming indicator but rom good all other areas...p.s sometimes it says unfortunately klock has stop but app runs find

Sprint version won't install. Hangs at Miui boot animation. Tried re-downloading, same result.

wen I open it...

I don't have any of the issues you are having so there is nothing I can do, not without experiencing the issues or without a logcat, for me there is no roaming indicator off, no fc on clock or music. I restore user data from titanium only.

I'll look at it, unfortunately I don't have a sprint device so there is no way for me to test it myself. I just added the sprint components to the rom before but i'll try doing a full re-port with the sprint cm9

As usually ken awsome work on this Rom! Although if you go to about on the phone and look at when the kernel was made it says July26! I don't know how thats possible but cool!

This rom definitely shows a lot of promise. And this update..whew. So much amazing in one little rom.

Is the data problem fixed yet? I don't have my account paid at the moment so I've not had the opportunity to test it out. Also, when phenom fixes the camera on CM9 will you be able to fix/port the solution to this? Great job, Ken

Which data problem are you referring to? The data works and the status bar shows the carrier.

When phenom gets the camera rolling I should have an update within a day or two, hopefully

Well, to the best of my knowledge the first version had problems with the data.

Quick question, why does the music app take long to load music at times? And the gallery does not load any of my photos at all.

You are right, the very first version didn't have data but every version since then has had data working

as far as the music all i can think is perhaps its the size of your library or the size of the sd card

the gallery defaults to favorites, there should be a button to 'show all' where it will display the contents of the internal storage. For now to view pictures in the external sd you would have to use the file manager or download a 3rd party app.

some of these things i hope to fix in the future since im learning to work with the source

ok i have the miui sources for ics downloaded and synced and ready to go. Lets see what happens

After getting around the music issue, I've encountered another problem. Flash Player. Does this rom have it? Because whichever site needs it to play videos, it doesn't have it. YouTube, Huffington Post, yada yada, it doesn't work. It also shows up to the actual desktop version of the site. And the video screen itself doesn't show the normal play button, but a blue lego-looking type thing. Would really appreciate some help, man.

No flash doesn't come with the Rom, you should be able to either find it on the market or thru a Google search easy enough
