[ROM] [Team Acheron] [GB27] Touched By S4 V2.2 updated 8/18/13 by Team Acheron

For some reason aLogcat didn't work (only gave me the first two numbers and honestly I'm pretty sure that was by coincidence).. so I called Boost and asked them for the MSL. They were very quick to give it to me then asked why I needed it so I told her what I was doing and that was that.

Well I am glad you got your MSL. aLogcat doesn't seem to work on TW JB. I have used the method of replacing the toolbox.bin with another version on a temp basis which makes the getprop ril.MSL work, but calling Boost is just as easy.

I take it you just told them your were fixing your MMS message problem?

On a TW ROM go to the dial screen and dial ##3282# (spells data). Under others there are three settings for MMSC URL, Proxy, and proxy port. Those are the settings that need to be correct for Boost. You need to know your MSL to be able to change them.

If you look in the one stop shop there instructions for fixing.

All Sprint labeled ROMs need to have the settings changed in order for MMS to work on a Boost account.

Not to point fingers or anything...but most have settings preset...or my rom is or boost made the changes already..... like most I got the text about boost upgrading to sprints network in my area atleast

Hit the nail on the head lol.. she even asked if I needed help. I'm pretty sure I shocked her when I said no thanks I know what to do :p

Boost has always been on Sprints network. Boost's MMS server is different. The text you received is just letting you know of the network upgrading sprint is currently doing,

I recently switched out a bad 16gb card, replaced with a 32GB class 10 HC, sandisk card (microSD)

when i was on version 2.1 of the rom...it came up with, checking card for errors..
it stayed...or force rebooted, so i formatted it again in windows, recovery, built in option...each time rebooting and installing the card...no success

it seems, it would fake me out, it would disappear, but yet, any explorer folder wouldnt see it,

so, now...
i formatted the phone, erased..all tat to start fresh...
Flashed the NEW rom, 2.2

the error went away...
i went into settings, it does show the card and does show the cards capacity,
so it must be working?!?

but when i goto the File Explorer "My files" app, it says "NO SD CARD FOUND"

now keep in mind, i downloaded/copied the files from computer to the SD CARD, that the computer saw my phone had, so its there...just not there..

now it says "USB STORAGE DAMAGED"
so i clicked on the window that said, click to format usb storage...
notification says, "PREPARING USB STORAGE: Checking for errors"
as i was typing this, it REBOOTED

after it boots, and has a bunch of Force Closes, media, settings, mtp, maybe something else..cant remember..

i cant access the camera, no external card.
i cant access the card to mount, as soon as i get into settings and click that option, it FC "settings"

soooOoo,
is this phone not ment to have a 32gb card?!
or is there a flaw in the rom?

*********Update.*******
ODIN the NEW agat recovery, 6.8tar, then booted into Recovery...looks better..more options...

then flashed the wipe all script... then flashed the SUperuser zip,

Then, flashed the Rom, 2.1

i think 2.2 is buggy, or its just my phone...but as soon as 2.1 is reinstalled, BOOM it sees everything and no FCs

maybe the new recovery helped?! or maybe just using odin to smack it in, or v2.1 is more stable then 2.2, or a combination of all?! im sticking with 2.1- cool rom, none the less.

I've scoured the thread over there where this thread is linked to (don't want to say it lol) but I can't find anybody having issues changing the lockscreen wallpaper. I thought, "to hell with it, I'll just place some of my own in the folder where the lockscreen wallpapers are stored" but I can't find the damn folder. Does anybody know how or where to:
A: Fix the lockscreen wallpaper where a different gallery wallpaper besides the four in the "wallpapers" selection will stick? I can select a wallpaper from "gallery" but it doesn't stick after it's cropped and saved by me.
B: Find where the 4 "wallpaper" 's are stored so I can just copy/paste my own into it and add to the 4 that are there?

SecWallpaperChooser.apk, no you can't just drop yours in, you would have to decompile the apk first. Settings/Display/Wallpaper/Lock Screen is what you're using?
