[App support] Navigation changes (latest maps update made changes)

I've just noticed the little blue arrow has disappeared off my phone, Google maps has changed as well. I use the nav feature a lot. Just updated the phone so I'm guessing it went then. Anyone know how I can get it back?

It's because you updated Maps. If you want to undo this, go to the apps menu, select all apps, select Maps, uninstall updates.

Navigation still exists in the new maps - even in the older version it's not a separate app, but a shortcut to that feature of Maps. What you lost with the update was the direct shortcut to the Navigation feature.

Thanks, I had same problem I use the shortcut all the time and don't even like the layout of the map app.

Uninstalled updates and I'm good to go again!

I hope the new map app on Android is not like the new web-based google map. So far I always switch back to the traditional map because the new map does not allow me to enter multiple destinations and access "My Map."

I just started to use the new map on my phone. I hope it's better..

Just because the Nav icon is gone, doesn't mean you don't have access to it. You can get to it from right inside of Maps.

When you open Maps there is a search bar up at the top. To the right side are two icons. Tap the arrow. The rest is self explanatory.

Cheers for this, Maps updated itself again and I lost the blue arrow out of my app lost. Don't need it now with this advice. Thanks
