So I've been trying to decipher this fancy talk and would love some quick help..

I finally decided to go with a custom ROM and since there's no stable CM10 Number Two looks like the best bet. With this Metro VV5 crap am I clear to download it and port it over or should I wait for an updated version that takes the VV5 into account?

Thanks!

#2 ROM will not work on vv5, ldrifta is actually working on getting it ported over so that we can enjoy taking our #2 on vv5 :D So in short I would recommend that you wait until he gets it worked out, however with more testers im sure this will go much faster. Oh and ldrifta now has his lady/wifey's old connect so he can test it out now something he was not able to do a week ago so a BIG thank you goes out to his wifey :D

I had it done two nights ago I just didn't know what to do with it but It put my phone in fastboot mode when I tested it I tried to get it to boot through the fastboot command prompt umm I played with it for a while ttryin different fastboot commands since I had never really played with it (fastboot) and i tried different boot images from my backup for the hell of it um and it didn't boot system.. hell I wasn't even sure if it was even supposed to go into fastboot mode had no idea what to expect. . I ended up having to do Sammyz unbrick method to get out fastboot... . that's my story and I'm sticking to it

I just rooted my vv5 and then installed rom manager and inside of that I flashed cwm. Can you not get it to work? That is very strange, you could try pushing it to your phone from your pc... :) I have the pc file if you need it, it installs cwm touch.
