Ideally I'd say Mossy Oak camo as the back, Black front, and Blaze Orange accents, but I doubt camo patterns will be available in Moto Maker...plus it might be hard to find the phone if you drop it in a wooded location haha.

Even more than all the color options, I'm excited about taking customization further. I'd get the clear case, and experiment to find the perfect medium for doodling on the inside of it. Dry erase marker would probably come off too easily, but vis-a-vis has potential. It needs to be bold and not easily smudged, but easily erasable.

Here's what I would do:

Front - White
Back - White (or possible a slightly darker shade of white for contrast)
Accent - Gold

Engraving - Never give up
Greeting - Explore the unknown
Wallpaper - stock

Storage - 32 GB (since they decided to take away sd card option)

The phone would match my sunglasses that I bought in memory of my past girlfriend. The Engraving is a message to myself and the whole world to never give up no matter what life throws your way. The greeting is a message to get out there and go where you haven't, to take the path less traveled, to explore your dreams. My design may be simple, but it is inspiring to myself.

I chose a red back plate as I think the color stands out quite a bit, black accents because it looks great on red and a white front because i have always had a phone with a black front.

Deserving is my preferred engraving as it has been my handle for quite awhile.

Load Greeting.. Long story but it is my favorite dialogue from a good show.

The wallpaper was something I could get myself however I have always had fun with it regardless of the battery drain.

Man, this is tough....especially without seeing a rendering.
But I have to go silver and black. Its just so clean and classy. No car looks better than black with chrome accents. Its the same reason I liked the Raiders when I was little.... how could you not think silver and black was cool? Yeah, maybe its not wild and original but this is my dream, go have your own!

Theme: The motto X reminds me of another great X, the Jordan X. This is supposed to be Motorola's comeback phone so why not base the design on the Jordan X, MJ's shoe when he made his famous comeback to the NBA. And while many people think the Moto X fell short... so did Jordan when he returned wearing the #45. He did manage to follow that up with 3 more back to back championships and let's hope Moto can do the same!
